Привіт! Сьогодні прочитав новину про те, що в Сальвадорі планують інтегрувати Lightning Network в банкомати BTC. Це планується зробити вже до кінця цього року, але лише в державних банкоматах. В інших, тобто приватних пристроях, ця функція буде реалізована в наступному році. Загалом же в країні встановлено понад 200 банкоматів.

Це гарна новина для BTC, адже поступово відбувається розширення та спрощення можливостей використання біткоїна як платіжного засобу. І Сальвадор в цьому плані є одним з лідерів. Нині ж у світі мережу другого рівня Lightning Network підтримують менш як 4% всіх біткоїн банкоматів. А встановлено їх станом на 8 листопада 2023 року всього лише 33083 штук. Насправді дуже мало. Цікаво, що рік тому їх було майже 40 тисяч. Загальна ж тенденція зростання криптовалютних банкоматів вражає! Наприклад, у 2014 році їх було близько десятка, 2016 — пів тисячі, 2018 — 2 тисячі, а у 2020 аж 6 тисяч.

Якщо переглянути весь рейтинг, то Україна займає не останнє місце, а знаходиться приблизно посередині. Так, в нашій країні встановлено 8 біткоїн банкоматів. Вище від нас в рейтингу Бразилія (9), Португалія (9), Ізраїль (10).

Можливо, що комусь буде цікаво переглянути місцеперебування банкоматів BTC в Україні. Тому залишаю посилання. Ці пристрої досить ефективно розосереджені по території нашої країни. По два банкомати розташовані в Одесі та Львові, по одному у Дніпрі, Франківську, Вінниці та Києві. До речі, дуже здивований тим, що в столиці лише пристрій для продажу та купівлі BTC. В моєму місті ще не встановлено жодного банкомата для купівлі криптовалют. Зате вистачає терміналів, як на світлині, для оплати послуг, поповнення телефонів, страхування тощо.

This is good news for BTC, as it is gradually expanding and simplifying the possibilities of using Bitcoin as a means of payment. And Salvador is one of the leaders in this regard. Currently, less than 4% of all bitcoin ATMs in the world support the second level of the Lightning Network. And as of November 8, 2023, only 33,083 of them were installed. In fact, very little. For example, in 2014 there were about a dozen of them, in 2016 — half a thousand, in 2018 — 2 thousand, and in 2020 as many as 6 thousand.
