The Price of Prosperity: How Hardship Fuels Hatred in Society.
I find it appalling when people only project their frustrations on people who make it out or are not living on their own terms. We used to be happy in the past because people were oblivious of some of the luxury that wealthy people enjoyed in the past.
Now that there's social media, they sort of can see everything. So once you're wealthy, someone out there is thinking "why are you lucky and why not them" on this side of the world I've learnt that the hardship has eaten deep into people that the suffering has turned to hate and that anyone who is not like them is an enemy.
Take for instance , exactly what the police do in uniforms by profiling innocent citizens, regular citizens are now doing it online. They hate when they don't benefit from you, the show of fake love and adoration turns to hate and envy when it's not beneficial to them .
In societies facing economic challenges, the gap between the wealthy and the impoverished can become a breeding ground for resentment. Many individuals who struggle may project their frustrations onto those who appear successful, viewing them as undeserving of their fortunes. This phenomenon can manifest in negative attitudes, social media trolling, and outright hostility, where the successful become scapegoats for broader systemic issues.
The idea that people show "fake love" towards the successful until they feel slighted or neglected is a poignant commentary on human nature.
The transactional nature of relationships can create an environment of superficial connections, where affection is dependent upon perceived benefits. Once wealth or status ceases to be advantageous to others, the sentiments can quickly shift to resentment and animosity, mirroring the hostility sometimes seen in law enforcement dynamics.
Living life should not be this hard and difficult. Encouraging a culture of empathy, support, and genuine connection can help bridge the socioeconomic divides, fostering a more inclusive society where achievements are celebrated rather than condemned.
If there is love , this life will be a better place
