No one loves tariffs let alone high tariffs . It’s essential for policymakers to consider the broader impacts of their trade strategies on the entire supply chain and employment.

Actually, business that are in industries that are being protected love them. So do the workers. They think it means they keep (or get more) jobs.
What happens is all lose since the economy (or industry) can tank.
