How We See Life .

Life is not a straight line
It is broken glass and healing hands,
a song half-sung,
a story still being written.

We see it in shadows and light,
in bills that drown us,
and in laughter that saves us.

Life is fleeting,
like dust carried by the harmattan wind, but each moment,
no matter how brief, shines like a secret flame.

We believe life is a struggle,
but also transformation scars becoming lessons,
Loss becomes wisdom.

And when the world grows too heavy,
we read poems, we write poems, to remind ourselves
we are not alone on this journey.

Hey, how are you doing today? "I've been writing poems lately. Want me to write one just for you?"
