FADING EXISTENCE
There is a quiet fear that no one talks about.
The fear of becoming nothing
not in a grand, tragic way
but in the slow, invisible erosion of meaning
Its synonymous to waking up one day
and realizing you're just existing
Educated, capable, full of promise, but fading.
Not a star, not a failure
Just a name people forget to mention
Perhaps the dawn can break this lingering darkness
A chance to forge anew, to find our way.
For even shadows fade when touched by light,
And dawn can chase away the longest night.
So let us hold the quiet fear, not as defeat,
But as a reminder that the heart still beat
To seek, to dream, and to fiercely reclaim,
A purpose born from life's unending flame.

You're right; not enough people talk about this fear, of just wasting your life and languishing. I think a lot of people can relate to that... Pretty good poem!
Yhhh right ! That moment when it occurs to you whether you're being patient or just wasting your time..
