Today I learned that Asher (@abh12345) would not be continuing the Hive Engagement League moving forward, and that last week's iteration was actually the last one. This truly is the end of an era, as Asher has been hosting the EL for about 4.5 years, so even before the Hard Fork from Steem.

I learned about the Hive Engagement League from my Hive friend Jackie - @littlebee4, and at that time engaging at that level was still only a dream. I first appeared in the top ten of the Hive Engagement League on November 28, 2023, in the #10 spot. I was in the top ten, and usually in the top five, of the EL for seven months straight. In the very last EL post from June 26, 2023, I was in the #1 spot, so I was the last at the top. Wow.

I should mention that my friend @treefrognada blows me away in terms of engagement when she gives that her focus, as she demonstrated well multiple times. I could say the same about dear @littlebee4. I'm just a consistent bugger who can devote a lot of time to Hive!
In the period of less than a year, my Hive engagement jumped up dramatically, and it stayed there. As many of you might have noticed, I tend to be very consistent, so once I get the feel for something, generally I have it pretty solid. It was the same way with learning to engage on Hive at the level that I do now. That's just how it is from now on, unless I change it. I've grown so much in the process, and I'm so grateful to have been a part of the EL for the time I was.
Asher, I want to thank you so very much again for running the Hive Engagement League for so long, and for everything that you contributed to it! I was only in it for seven months, but man am I going to miss it!

It is not at all necessary to travel in time, it is enough to be skeptical about the spontaneous decisions of a person who has invested a lot of his time in business. How arm is it? Perhaps arm=hot? If that is the case, then thankfully it rarely gets too hot or too cold here. The temperatures are comfortable most of the time. Right now it's probably in the upper 70s to low 80s (sorry, I know you're used to Celsius), with a lovely breeze.

Yep, the temperature variation between Summer and Winter is not that great, and is quite pleasant most of the time. It sometimes gets a little hot or chilly, but that is not the norm. Cold-adapted plants and those that prefer drier climates don't do well here without special conditions.

Yes, that's what I thought about the climate there, as I know of a lot of interesting plants that can be grown there. Hehe...yeah, each location does seem to have its limiting factors for plants.

Well.. it might not be the same amount of amazing detail as the EL, but I still see your ridiculous activity on the Discover page of ecency.com... which you and @littlebee4 is always near the top of. This last week I was getting pretty good and thought it would be cool to see how I fare on the EL... now its gone... that's a shame.

Yep, that's true, we still have the Ecency leaderboard! That's where I first noticed my increased engagement many months ago.
