OK, yes, I get that, but why isn't more attention given to Honeycomb and VSC if they are in some way better? 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

VSC hasn't launched mainnet yet. It's coming though
Thanks a lot for the information! I appreciate it! I see it on the PeakD beta site, so I know it's coming! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I see that both the SPK and VSC networks test decentralized file hosting, where hosting providers get paid and hosting users pay in the respective token, though I still need to find the recent relevant links. 🤯🤓
Anyway, I noticed that you got an official answer on your comment there. 🤔😏

Yes, I've heard about it for the SPK network, but I hadn't heard about VSC doing file hosting too, but I think that it's very cool. I haven't seen any recent posts about that either.
Yep, I did indeed, much to my surprise! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I still can't find the links to official posts (especially to VSC). 🤔🤯
Maybe I would just tell you as soon as I find such links on Hive. 🤯😅

That's very curious to me indeed that such a significant development would have so little communication around it.
OK, that works! I look forward to hearing about what you find! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

There should also be an initiative where (great) programmers are encouraged to prioritize being (good) communicators! 🤔😎🤓

Haha...that would be the holy grail of project development! As it stands now, it's pretty hit or miss...lol! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

In a dev team, there usually is a communicator (also knowledgeable in programming) assigned to keep track of changes and ideas, to share them with other team members as well as the stakeholders of the project. 🤓😏
!DIY
!INDEED
Well, in ideal dev teams that is the case, but I know quite a few of them, both on Hive, and on other blockchains, where that is very much not the case...lol! That's how I want our project to be. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

As soon as borniet comes back, you would be a very productive team again, with he as the programmer and you as the communicator! 😎
There should also be someone who takes the role as the artist (designing logos, banners, and such), and a documenter (which takes note of every important detail on the project). 🤓

Yes, I think so too, and I'm looking forward to getting things back on track and moving forward again. Those have been our roles up until this point, and it's worked pretty well so far.
True, both of those are important too. We're both pretty good on the first one, though not so much on the second. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I wonder how much you would agree that four (4) is the magic number when it comes to a (software) project team. 🤔 Those four would typically (but not necessarily) be comprised of programmer, designer/artist, documenter/communicator, and tester. 🤓😏
!DIY
!INDEED
Well, 4 does seem like a good number, not too big or small, and if each filled an important role, then perhaps it would even be ideal, though I will say that redundancy is a very good thing too, in case one of the four is not able to perform their duties. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
DIY
!INDEED
They say that if the "magic number" of team members (which is 4) get reduced, then each member is (much) more likely to get overloaded with tasks, while if the number is increased, then communication and portioning of tasks between the members become more complicated. 🤔🤯🤓
Of course, each team member should also understand what each other member is doing in the team. 🤓😏
!DIY
!INDEED
Oh the conundrum of creating a project management team! While it would hold true for a team of any number, having one place where team members check and communicate every day is even more important for teams beyond 5 members.
Understanding what the other members do is different from being able to do what the other members do, and there should be an equal portion of both I'd say. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
!DIY
!INDEED
I think there's an obvious handicap when team members communicate using different platforms. 🤔🤯🤯
Being able to do what another team member is doing is !INDEED good, but should also be a backup, especially since every team member has his or her own tasks in the team for the project. 🤓😏
!DIY
!PIZZA
Yes, indeed, I would very much agree with that!
Yes, of course, but the backup still needs to be proficient at the secondary task for him/her to be effective. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Every project team member having a secondary role in the team sounds great. 🤔😏🤓

Brilliant, we've come to agreement! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
