True, it is a tool that can be molded in various ways, both positive and negative, depending on how it's programmed and trained. Most tools don't gain the ability to change themselves, which AI can do in certain situations. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I think that when an AI rewrites its own code, there is the possibility that it would erase itself from existence! 🤔🤯😅

Well, I imagine that it would write and test the code under controlled conditions, and only once the code was found to be useful, would the AI upgrade itself. It might even make a backup of itself first. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

While testing code under controlled conditions is good practice, it won't totally eliminate the chance that the AI creates something that will destroy itself. 🤔🤯 The AI might also think that creating a backup of itself is potentially dangerous for it, since when the backup "wakes up", the copy might think that it is the real one and might try to destroy the other. 🤯😅

That does look like a nice plot for an AI vs. AI story! 🤖🤓😅

Our AI might need to have some courage (funny that courage comes from the root cour, heart, which no AI has) when testing its code, or even backing itself up. Yep, we do seem to come up with good plots for fiction and science fiction quite often. You don't see many AI VS AI story lines...lol! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Imagine the AI "game master" intentionally annoying human players, then make the "game" temporarily "good" just right before somebody wants to quit. 🤯🤯😆😅

Maybe the AI "master" would employ something such as "dark patterns" to make the human players stay on their game! 🤔🤯

#Ecency Advanced Search is useful for "salvaging" lost comments (or comments with no human replies). 😎 Hope it supports sorting search results from oldest to newest, so that the user doesn't need to scroll a long way down just to find the oldest comments and posts! 🤗😅

Most likely they would employ such things, because if the AI can keep humans in the game, they can easily prevent them from learning the truth, and as such prevent the humans from taking them down.

The "invert sort" function should not only be for Hive search tools, but also for feeds (such as posts, comments, and replies, at least within a given period of time). 🤔🤓
