My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 203 - Giant Taro Reflections - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, January 25, 2025
Warm greetings fellow reflection Hunters! š š š āØ š¤
For my entry in Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 203, I'd like to share batch of lovely reflection photos that I took this afternoon, of the sun-backlit leaves of some giant taro - Colocasia gigantea, reflected in my alway trusty portable mirror. I take photos of this plant a lot, especially the really big ones, as they're both beautiful and impressive. These guys are still quite small, but they made the perfect subject for my entry.
I love the green and symmetry of the leaves, and how they're framed by the mirror, and illuminated from behind by the sun. I hope that you appreciate them as much as I did when I took them! š š š āØ š¤
šThis is my entry!š
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! šššāØš¤

Love how the details of the leaf show up so well in the reflection!!
Good luck!!šš»š
