Welcome to my 187th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! Well, I've spent a week watching the fiat-dollar price of HIVE, waiting for it to dip into the $0.08 range, so that I could swap my presently 606+ liquid HBD for HIVE. The fiat price of HIVE increased as soon as my HBD had fully unstaked, and has mostly stayed there all week, except for one small dip (which is when I took the opportunity to swap the We Are Alive Tribe's 80+ HBD), so I've missed a week of HBD interest if it were in Savings. Since the fiat price of HIVE is holding so stably, and the Hive Debt has dropped a bit, if HIVE doesn't drop into the $0.08 range by December 31st, I'm going to deposit my big chunk of HBD back into Savings for at least another month. It all depends on how things go on the last day of the year (at least in terms of the inaccurate 12-month Julian calendar), so I may either have a nice mega-powerup for the January HPUD, or 606+ HBD back in Savings earning interest once again. We shall see how it all flows.

With the present challenging Hive economic conditions, many projects and services are ending, and seemingly more every week, and I'm sad to report that yet another good source for HIVE, delegating POB to @pob.voter, has also come to an end. That's another HIVE income source lost, both on my own account, and for the We Are Alive Tribe. Very thankfully, @bee.voter, which is run by the same fellow, and which is still the We Are Alive Tribe's primary source for HIVE each week, will continue, for now at least. This is exactly why it's so important to build and grow multiple sources of income for any important asset, which is exactly what I've been doing, both for me, and for the We Are Alive Tribe.

Since I was able to swap the We Are Alive Tribe's 80+ HBD during the short dip in the fiat price of HIVE a few days ago, this (slightly late) Christmas present for the community is now ready for delivery over the coming year as augmented HIVE payouts in the daily ALIVE dividends. While I was planning for this to go live by Wednesday, December 31, Bjorn made the amount change to the payout script this morning, so I'm happy to report that the increased amount of HIVE in the ALIVE dividends will be starting today!

That's the most significant news to share from this past week and going into the next, which means that it's time to jump into the numbers to see how I really did over the last week. Tallyho we go!

Over the past week I gained +89.226 Hive Power and +0.05 Reputation Points, with all 3 primary 2025 Hive Goals having already been accomplished. Depending on how it goes, I may be depositing my 606+ HBD back into Savings by December 31st, if the fiat price of HIVE does not get into the $0.08 range.

In terms of my HiveBuzz rankings, I Inched up +7 places for HP, and I jumped +18 places for Reputation, since last week, so fairly good upward movement. I may be tracking my ranking for HBD in Savings again by next week, but that rests on what the fiat price of HIVE does on the last day of the year.
