Welcome to my 158th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! Aside from passing the milestone of 9,900 Hive Power near the beginning of the week, the most notable information to share from the past week is the intense focus that I've been giving to increasing my liquidity in assorted diesel/liquidity pools, and expanding into new pools. Given both the huge income potential and the incredible importance of liquidity pools in terms of token economics in the Hive Ecosystem, this is an exceedingly good decision I'd say.

At my present rate of growth, I should reach the significant milestone of 10,000 Hive Power at some point next week. Although my HP is rising at a fairly rapid rate, it really needs to increase a whole lot more quickly than it is, especially with my year-end goal of 15,000 Hive Power. I'll likely have to come up with some way to boost it manually by at least 2,000 HP, and probably more. Yep, I've got my work cut out for me, that's for sure.

I'll talk a bit more about my ever-increasing focus and investment in liquidity pools shortly, but for now it's time to go over the numbers from last week, to see how I faired. Tallyho we go!

Over this past week I gained +49.912 Hive Power, +2.133 HBD in Savings, and +0.03 Reputation points, which means that I still have 5,077.838 HP, 106.46 HBD in Savings, and 0.59 Reputation points to go to reach my year-end goals. Growth is OK, but yeah, it needs to go faster.

In terms of my HiveBuzz rankings, it was a very mediocre week, with me inching up +2 places for Hive Power, +1 place for HBD in Savings, and +2 places for Reputation. That's the smallest amount of growth that I think that I've had since I started keeping track of my ranking, but at least all the numbers are in the positive.

Diesel/Liquidity pools have taken up a huge amount of my focus as of late, as I explore, experiment, observe, and add more and more liquidity to a constantly-growing array of different pools. Originally my primary goal with liquidity pools was centered around generating greater income, and growing my assets. Then, however, as I came to realize and understand just how very important they are for price stabilization and the value of layer-2 tokens, and therefore the whole Hive token economy, I began to expand into as many pools as my resources allow, regardless of simple profitability, because it helps to strengthen the entire Blockchain, and even beyond that into the greater cryptosphere.

At the moment I have liquidity in 93 different pools, and I can tell you that this is just the beginning. I've begun to focus on getting a few pools at a time past their respective payout thresholds for daily liquidity rewards and/or pool fees, and overall this is going quite well, with some version of income now being generated by most of them. This income is still very small for several, but little bits of income across many different pools definitely adds up to much larger profit over time, especially as I continue to increase my liquidity in them all. Diesel/Liquidity pools have kind of become a speciality of mine, and I'm going very deep into them indeed, for the benefit of us all.
