Welcome to my 156th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! I had very solid gains in several areas over this past week, with 9,700 HP being reached and surpassed near the beginning of the week, the returns from my XV investment allowing me to notably exceed my former position in the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool, my second batch of 100+ SPS unstaked from Splinterlands allowing me to strongly boost my liquidity in the DEC:SPS and SPS:PKM pools, as well as claiming 5.855 in HBD Savings interest four days ago. There were also good increases in several other diesel/liquidity pools, and in various significant layer-2 tokens.

Oh the pools. I'll have more to say on them shortly, but suffice it is to say that I keep getting more excited the deeper I go into the pools where I already have assets, and the more I explore and expand into new pools. Diesel pools are pretty badass indeed!

The June HPUD will be on Saturday (my time), and with my chunk of HIVE that I'll be powering up, I'll exceed 9,800 Hive Power, which is a lovely way to start the month. I took a couple hits in my HIVE income recently, but thankfully I still have a reasonable amount to stake.

Over the last week I gained +53.092 Hive Power, +9.107 HBD in Savings, and +0.03 Reputation points, which means that I still need 5,231.129 HP, 111.639 HBD in Savings, and 0.64 Reputation point to reach my year-end goals. I also gained +409.6185 ALIVE, +639.25 BBH, +584.73229962 BBHO, +0.2377 DUO, and +4,071.6775 SBT. Not bad at all!

I'm terms of my HiveBuzz ranking I jumped +9 places for HP, I rose +7 places for HBD in Savings, and I leaped +13 places for Reputation, so quite good here too, and all positive numbers this week, which is always nice to see. Higher and higher I go (even if my ranking for HBD in Savings drops sometimes)!

The biggest news from last week was the wrap-up of the 2-year XV investment project, and although the returns weren't quite as good as I had hoped (HIVE outperformed the basket of 15 off-chain crypto assets in the last week), I did still have a good return and profit. I had originally won 5 XV in a @spinvest challenge, then as I began to follow the weekly XV updates, I started to consider investing more into it, which I later did end up doing, in two rounds. I removed 118 SWAP.HIVE/118.146 PWR from the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool, and I used the 118 SWAP.HIVE to buy 50 XV for 2. 36 SWAP.HIVE each. Later, I made the decision to liquidate my last last 114.351 liquid PWR for 130.5 SWAP.HIVE to buy another 43.5 XV at 3 SWAP.HIVE each. So I spent 248.5 SWAP.HIVE total (my liquidated assets from the SWAP:HIVE:PWR pool) for my XV investment, and by project wrap-up, I had 98.5 XV (5 being free). My return was 330.96 SWAP.HIVE, with a profit of 82.46 SWAP.HIVE, so a 24.92% ROI. Yes, it could have been notably better if I had acquired my XV at the original price of 1 SWAP.HIVE each, since I would have had a x3.60/236% return on my my investment. Oh well, I learned a lot from my involvement in XV, and if and when there is another round, I'll be ready!

I used my returns and profits, all 330.96 SWAP.HIVE, to regain and far surpass my original liquidity position in the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool. Before I removed the 118 SWAP.HIVE/118.146 PWR to acquire more XV, I had 523.42196902 SWAP.HIVE/524.065 PWR, 519.45588 shares, and my assets comprised 2.076% of total pool liquidity. Today I have 669.00121090 SWAP.HIVE/460.145 PWR, 549.97530 shares, and my assets now compose 1.885% of the total pool liquidity. That was a pretty nice boost!

I really have to update the list of pools below, because I have assets in so many more of them than are presently shown. I haven't updated it just yet because I'm still exploring and experimenting with lots of new ones, to see what level of liquidity is necessary in each one to begin generating pool fees. I've definitely found several more good ones, along with others that are not quite as inspiring. Aside from adding new pools to the list, I also want to separate it into pools that earn daily liquidity rewards and fees, and those that just earn fees (though there is one pool where I am earning daily liquidity rewards, but not fees yet). Soon.

I noticed yesterday that the LOLZ project added three more layer-2 tokens to their curation delegation service, BYTE/@lolz.byte, SCP/@lolz.scp, PHOTO/@lolz.photo (this one was actually re-added), and VOTE/@lolz.vote, so I'm taking that into account for my layer-2 delegations. I've never heard of SCP yet, but if LOLZ added it, I should perhaps take a closer look.
