My 149th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 2/3 Weekly Goals Exceeded, 9,300 HP Surpassed, and an XV Investment Opportunity Seized! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, April 6, 2025

Welcome to my 149th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! This past week was a fairly good one for the most part, with solid gains and growth, and with two of my three weekly goals being surpassed. I could definitely be growing faster in all quarters, but I'm still very grateful for how quickly that I am progressing.

The most notable news to report from this previous week is that yesterday I seized the opportunity to buy 50 more XV tokens at a steal of a price, something that I had been intending to do before the wrap-up of the XV investment project in 7 weeks, I just didn't expect to be able to acquire so many. It was made possible by seeing, and taking advantage of, a bit of (temporary) strategic asset reallocation from the SWAP.HIVE:PWR diesel/liquidity pool, which I'll discuss more shortly.

The time will come soon for me to redo and reframe how I do these weekly updates, so that I can include goals for various layer-2 assets, and diesel/liquidity pool positions, since they are such significant income sources. Since I may be using my sizeable chunk of HBD presently in Savings to add to my HIVE-HBD trading pool for a six-month run of AI-bot trading soon, I'd remove my goal for HBD in Savings while that's operating. I'm still deciding whether I want to keep my Reputation goal or not. We shall see.

This week I gained +100.905 Hive Power, +2.129 HBD in Savings, and +0.04 Reputation, which means that I exceeded my HP goal by +4.993 HP, that I was under my goal for HBD in Savings by -0.101 HBD, and that I surpassed my Reputation goal (for the second time in a row) by +0.01 Reputation points, so overall not bad. It's really interesting that I had a two-week streak of better-than-expected Reputation increases.

In terms of my HiveBuzz rankings, I inched up +2 places for HP, I jumped up +8 places for HBD in Savings, and I leaped up +30 places for Reputation. It's so funny how slowly I'm rising in HP ranking, and how quickly I'm going up in Reputation ranking, as it seems utterly counterintuitive.

As I mentioned above, yesterday, as I eyed the 50 cheap (2.36 SWAP.HIVE each/118 SWAP.HIVE total) XV on the market, and looked over my assets to consider how it might be possible to get ahold of them, an idea came to me. I had a substantial stake in the SWAP.HIVE:PWR liquidity pool, with 519.45588 shares, 523.42196902 SWAP.HIVE/524.065 PWR, which comprised 2.076% of the total pool liquidity, so in a moment of inspired action, I decided to (temporarily) remove 22.544% of my total liquidity, so 118 SWAP.HIVE/118.146 PWR, to then use the 118 SWAP.HIVE to buy the above-mentioned 50 cheap XV tokens on the market, which brought me to a new total of 55 XV. With the XV investment project finishing in fewer than two months, and the projected profits still being so good, I made a strategic move that I'm hoping will pay off well soon. The removed PWR will be re-added to the pool slowly over the next 7 weeks, until XV wraps up, then I'll use a portion of the profit to re-add the rest to the pool.
