I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #985 - Alive Tribe Anniversary Correction, and Now on Another Blockchain - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Tuesday, April 8, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

In a post that I wrote a few days ago, I mentioned that the 5th Anniversary of the We Are Alive Tribe was coming up soon, on April 21, 2020. It turns out, however, that this date is not accurate. I used the creation date for the We Are Alive Tribe community account as the Tribe's anniversay date, but apparently that is not when the community was actually launched. I give thanks to Rosyel (@iamraincrystal) for pointing this out to me, and for providing me a link to a post, We Are Funded - Day 34 With CTP Bonus, from April 16, 2021, where Erik announced that the tribe had been fully funded, and was basically ready to go.

So the actual anniversay date for the Alive Tribe does appear to be April 16, 2021, not April 21, 2020 as I had originally shared, which of course means that this upcoming anniversay will be the Tribe's 4th, not its 5th. Oh well, I was going from the information that I had available at the time, since I was not yet present on the Blockchain at the time the community was lauched, so I had no direct experience. I stand corrected.

April 16th is next Wednesday, so just a week to go. Although we're still discussing the details, we're planning to make an official anniversay post, where we'll share an fun engagement challenge with the community, with some nice rewards. Since we only have a week, we do have to put this together rather quickly, which I'll do my best assist.

In my post yesterday, I mentioned that I was looking into creating an account on the Blurt blockchain, which is a bit more involved than it is on Hive to create an account for free, but I was successful in the end, with my new account being created this morning, with same account name that I use here (and almost everywhere else, too). Blurt is quite similar, and also somewhat different from Hive, and I'm still getting my bearing there. Pretty much every action requires a small BLURT fee, so it's necessary to keep some liquid BLURT in my account, and since I only started with 10, I haven't powered any up yet. I don't know how active I'll be on Blurt yet, but I'll explore its potential over the next few weeks.

With my always busy schedule, I don't really have the time to write original posts across multiple blockchains, and since Hive is my primary focus, I write and publish here. Sharing my Hive posts on Blurt may not go so well, so I'm not exactly sure how to start growing there yet in a useful way. Hive is and always will be my primary focus, as to me its my Blockchain home, though I will always explore, and if feasible, begin leveraging and growing assets, and making connections, on other community-driven blockchains, which will directly benefit my Hive account, and therefore the Hive community, because I operate on the principle of Maximum Mutual Benefit, and I want us all to thrive on Hive, and I'll do whatever in able to make that happen. Period.

Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, once I had finished up my Hive tasks, a little after 2:30PM, giving my attention to a bit of photography for these posts first, collecting some food suppies from Tutu's, and then straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) in the Landing. With all that done, I spent some time in the Landing, teaching Alex how to change and put on new ethernet heads onto ethernet cables, which went very well, with him doing so successfully himself by the end of our training session. When I wrapped up with Alex, I made myself some food (spiced and seasoned mini beef patties with pepperjack cheese, and three different mustards), collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee, and got a bowl of popcorn that Lizzie had made, and with all that in hand(s), I headed back to the Flow House, to get into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. Since I wasn't able to get fully caught up from the night before, and I had a lot last night too, I wasn't able to get catch up completely before I had to stop just after 12AM to do some asset management, and to respond to various Discord messages, before finally going to bed, way too late again, at 1AM. I woke up a bit before 8:30AM, having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:30PM, so it's an excellent time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to first focus on photography for these posts, and then community/land work. Although my finger (cut with a machete) is healing very quickly, it's still only partially usable, so I had to reschedule the session that I had planned today for next Wednesday, to give myself one more week to heal. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
