I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Happy 5th birthday, Hive! Five years ago today, Hive was born, as the community took their power back, with the fork from the STEEM blockchain. Hive didn't remain a STEEM clone, however, it adapted, grew, developed, changed, and evolved, becoming an Ecosystem that surpassed its progenitor in every way, as well as now unfolding features that never existed on STEEM. I arrived on the Blockchain on September 23, 2021, so I've been here for 69.77% of the total time the Hive has existed.

For those that might be interested, because it's Hive's 5th birthday, there is of course a big contest, Hive 5: Celebrating our 5th Anniversary as Hive. I'm definitely considering participating, I just need to find the time to write two extra posts before a week has passed. I have a lot to say on both of the contest questions, though the first one, talking about my favorite Hive project, would not be an easy one at all, as I love many, most notably being the We Are Alive Tribe, and of course our MMB Meta-Project, which is still in its very early beginning.

Bjorn and I are in the final stage of testing and tweaking the variables in the payout script, so we're just about ready to activate it for a live run. It will be on a daily cadence, with a minimum of 500 held and/or staked ALIVE necessary to be eligible for payouts. Both held and staked ALIVE will trigger payouts, with staked ALIVE receiving double. The initial payout tokens will be ALIVE, BBH, PEPE, and LOLZ, with others being added as I grow sufficient quantities of other useful and valuable tokens over time.

The one thing that I will say about the payout amounts of each token, after looking over the test log, is that they are not very impressive or exciting yet. Now that I see the numbers with which we're working, I'll begin making adjustments to strongly increase the income in the chosen payout tokens, so the amounts sent out for dividends should increase week to week, and month to month. This is just the first implementation of daily dividend payouts, so once we have it up and running, we'll make adjustment and tweaks, as we see how it works in practical terms.

The script is also ready for payouts for ALIVE and HP delegations to Alive community accounts, but we're holding off on activating that for the moment, since I've been using all incoming HIVE to powerup to @alive.chat and @aliveandthriving. So delegation payouts will also be returning soon as well, just not yet. As we move forward, we'll be working to offer as much value for community engagement and support as possible. We're just getting started!

Yesterday, Wednesday, after finishing up my Hive tasks, I prepared for my session with Riana at 1:30PM. The weather was far from ideal for a session, being cloudy, rainy, and a bit chilly pretty much all day. In a very unexpected turn of events, instead of me giving Riana a session, she ended up interviewing me about my life in community at GaiaYoga, my deep involvement and passion for Hive, and how Hive could be used to benefit the Lower Puna community through the creation of a local circular Hive economy, for the purpose of having it published in a major magazine on intentional communities. The interview went pretty well, and we covered a lot, with my primary topic of conversation being on Hive. We both felt satisfied by the time that we finished in the early evening. Once Riana left, I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, returning to the Flow House immediately after to get into my evening round of Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I finished everything by just after 10:30PM, and after some asset management, exploring the latest version of the new Qortal UI, and scanning my X feed, I went to bed just after 12PM. I woke up around 7:15AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, beginning on this post, then getting out of bed around 8:30AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:30PM, so a great time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House bit later in the afternoon, to first focus on some photography for these posts and for my entry in the Shadow Hunters Contest, and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
