I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #942 - One Blockchain to Rule Them All! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Monday, February 24, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Being the ever-intrepid Blockchain Explorer that I am, over several years, I've dipped my toes, and gotten my hands dirty, across an array of different blockchains, in my quest to find other excellent (preferably sovereignty-driven) blockchain ecosystems like Hive. My experiences in this journey have clarified for me what is truly essential and most important for me in a truly exeptional blockchain ecosystem, and while I've discovered some gems to be sure, to this day no other blockchain ecosystem can reasonably compare to Hive for me. It's not even close. When I say that Hive is a very special Blockchain, I mean it, it really is.

I'm active, or have accounts, on Bastyon, DeSo, Qortal, Solana, Koinos, Steem, and of course Hive, and I can say that for me personally, Hive is by far the best, hands down. As to why this is, well, I'd say that it's a whole host of large and small things, that to me are glaringly obvious now, standing out like bright, flashing signs. There are times, like just a few mínutes ago when I tried to create an account on the WAX blockchain, that I'm turned off almost immediately. That happens a lot. What can I say, I'm picky, or very discerning, about blockchains and blockchain technology.

The various amazing elements that together make Hive what it is are like a key to my lock, activating an incredible passion, commitment, dedication, and tenacity within me for this one-of-a-kind Blockchain, as anyone that knows me is very well aware. I consider Hive my online home, and in a way that I've never felt about any other blockchain or platform. I'm a regular visitor to many, but Hive is where I live.

Although I'm one of Hive's biggest fans, I'm also aware that it's not perfect, and that it definitely has some notable challenges, but I believe that the challenges that it does face can indeed be resolved over time. That's why, even though I do see things that bother or disturb me, that I'm rock-solid all-in for the long haul here, because we, as the Hive community, can make it better as we keep moving forward.

One of the most exciting things for me about Hive in relation to other blockchains is that I can see strong development in blockchain interoperability across many other blockchains, so pretty soon, no matter which blockchain ecosystem that we choose to call home, we'll be able to transfer assets to most other blockchains, easily. I've been wanting that more on Hive for ages, in part because it would help make our own assets more valuable, since they could be exchanged easefully between chains, thus opening up a greater decentralized market and commerce. Yep, I can't wait for that!

Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, just a little after 2PM, putting my attention first on photography for these posts, straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and going to collect a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food. With all that done, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, and then I dove into the process of beginning to go through my newer, now derilict nursery, to salvage plants, to transport them across the property, to my original nursery behind the Landing, after finally having cleared and cleaned it sufficiently. I moved two wheelbarrow's full of plants, and spent some time afterward doing more repotting, up-potting, and emergency care. It felt really good to have finally gotten to this. After moving the first round of plants, I cleaned up, made myself some food (mini spiced and seasoned beef patties, with pepper jack cheese, and honey and horseradish mustards) in the Landing, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I returned to the Flow House, to get to my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I paused that for about an hour to attend the Monday logistics meeting, after which I headed back to the Flow House to continue. I didn't get done until after 12:30AM, and after some asset management, and a quick scan of my X feed, I went to bed, way too late, at 1AM. I woke up first at 5AM, and unable to sleep, I did some quick asset management, then back to bed I went. I woke up again just before 8:30AM, having slept reasonably well, doing more asset management, getting out of bed around 8:45AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 12:45PM, so a great time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before preparing for my session with Emily at 1:30PM. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
