I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #338 - Hive-Life Balance - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Friday, June 30, 2023

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

One of the most challenging aspects about Hive for me has not been sufficient commitment, dedication, patience, or consistency, but rather finding a good balance between what I do on Hive and my day-to-day life. In many ways I'm usually able to consistently devote far more time to Hive than most people can, hence me being in the top ten (and usually in the top five) of the Hive Engagement League for more than three and a half months.

The main crux of the issue is that Hive has so many diverse ways to generate income and succeed, and that the more we give of ourselves the more we receive, so it can be tricky not to give so much of myself that I have little left for my own life. This is especially true when other people, and spending time with them, are a part of the equation, or become part of the scene later, requiring adjustments to how Hive is done.

Because I give so much of myself to Hive, and and my commitment and dedication here are strong, I will always do my absolute best to complete my daily goals and tasks, and to stay caught up with my notifications. This is not always possible, and I have fallen behind a little lately, but I always return to continue where I left off.

Hive is very important to me, as anybody who knows me here is well aware, so in this ever-changing balancing act between Hive and life, Hive will always have its place. It's just finding and staying in the sweet equilibrium point between the two.

This post is being written the next morning, as have all iterations of these posts this week. Marko was out with the kids most of the day yesterday, so Hive got most of my focus, which is a good thing, as I was finally able to catch up fully. I still wasn't able to write this post last night before sleep overtook me, however. Since it was time for #HPUD yesterday, I finally converted the liquid HBD that I had to HIVE, and then powered it up. Of course I made a post about it, I Powered Up 30 HIVE for #HPUD!

So I received the sad news today that Marko and the kids were moving out today, so most of my morning was spending time with Aloha and Mahina, playing in the pool (twice!), and visiting with the horses. I was trying to work on this post while they were still here, but I was quite distracted. They left, after many hugs, a short while ago, so my focus has returned here, to finish this post, catch up, and then do my various daily tasks.

Aloha and Mahina feel like daughters to me, and I'm going to miss them immensely. People coming, staying for a time, and then moving on, is the nature of this place. I've gotten used to it being here so long, but I still don't like 'good byes'.

It's now almost 1PM, so it's time to end this post and get onto my Hive catch-up, a few tasks, and then some work on the land later. I deeply appreciate you all! Until tonight, or tomorrow! Onward and upward, together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
