I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1107 - A Refinement to My Strategy to Reach 15,000 HP by Year End - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Friday, August 8, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

In my post yesterday, I mentioned that in one way or another, that I am going to reach 15,000 HP before the end of the year, and I discussed a few possible ways for that to happen, with fiat-to-crypto investments now being an option once again, which is also the most likely means of achieving that formidable goal. At the present prices, $600 would do the trick, and very thankfully that's in a range that I can presently afford.

Although I had said that I would likely do it with two smaller investments spread out in time a bit, I've changed my mind on that, and for two reasons. One, I have the amount that I'd need available now, and that isn't always the case, so I'm thinking that I should seize the opportunity while I'm able. The second reason is because of an idea that came to me this morning, namely that it would be better to invest the whole $600 at once, to make use of Hive's brilliant mechanism of compounding interest and exponential growth, to grow it even more until near the end the year when I'll need it. The more we have, the faster it grows, so getting my assets compounding sooner is better than later.

My two previous fiat-dollar investments into Hive were done by way of one of our jungle neighbors, who happens to be very much into crypto, so I gave him cash, and a week later he sent me an equivalent amount of LTC directly to my Hive account via Hive-Engine. This has worked very well, so it's how I'll do it this time as well. I have it sent to me as LTC because it is quick, and with very low transaction fees.

The idea that I had this morning is to get the ball rolling with this $600 fiat investment as soon as possible, then when the it arrives in my wallet as SWAP.LTC, to add it to the SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.LTC liquidity pool, which with that level of investment, would earn very solid pool fees. Doing this has two benefits, the first of course being growing my assets to be able to do a bigger powerup, with the second being that I can remove my assets from the pool whenever I like, instantly.

I'd let my assets grow in that pool until sometime near the middle or end of December, hopefully when the SWAP.HIVE-to-HIVE conversion fees are in my favor, swap the LTC portion of it into SWAP.HIVE, convert my SWAP.HIVE to HIVE, and then powerup it up on the January HPUD, which for me starts at 2PM on Wednesday, December 31, so any time after that, and before 12AM, would work. Given that the SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.LTC pool is the sixth highest in terms to pool fees earned, my assets should increase quite well by the time that I need them, which will allow me to do an even bigger powerup than I has originally thought.

Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House, once I had finished up my Hive tasks, just after 2:30PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and straining and blending kefir. When I had those done, I got my machete and did more clearing work in various overgrown areas. After clearing a good bit, I took a shower, made myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned ground beef, eggs, onions, tomatoes, longevity spinach leaves, olive oil, and sea salt) in the Landing, then with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand(s), I headed back to the Flow House, to gently dive into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by a little after 10PM, and after some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed a bit after 11:30PM. I woke up at 6AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post (I did also get in some photography). It's now just before 12:15PM, so a very good time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, collecting coconut water and coconut meat from a bunch of younger coconuts to prepare more medium to ferment another round of kefir, and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
