I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Although Hive is a truly exceptional Blockchain Ecosystem, with an incredible community and world-changing potential, one thing which has never been an easy task here is onboarding new people, and getting them grounded and proficient with how Hive works, and making them understand that their sucess on Hive is entirely in their hands. So many people arrive here, publish one or two posts, and then give up soon afterward when they don't get the response that they hoped. I've seen this over and over again, and it really bothers me.

I will say that perhaps Hive may not be for everyone. It's a whole different and complex world compared to that with which most people are accustomed, and it just 'clicks' for some people (like me), while this doesn't seem to happen for many others at all. For people to grow and succeed on Hive, they have to actually be able to see and appreciate what it is now, and what its mind-boggling potential is. There are countless opportunities within the Hive Ecosystem of which people can take advantage, if they are aware of them, and if they have the motivation to seize them.

I know how challenging it can be starting out on Hive, which is why I do my absolute best to assist, help, support, and educate newcomers that I see making an honest effort, since I truly want them to succeed here, both for themselves, and because their success is our success as a blockchain community. In the We Are Alive Tribe, we always do our best to make sure that everyone feels supported, and that newcomers feel welcome. I go to great efforts in this regard. We have such an beautifully kind, caring, and supportive community of people from all over the world, and we're all there to help each other.

For anyone outside the Alive Tribe community, if it would help your onboarding efforts, please feel free to direct those that you onboard to our community, and encourage them to get themselves involved with our various community activities through the week. I can assure you that no newcomers will be left behind, and that they will indeed receive support. I'll make sure that they get a good start.

Since the whole basis of Hive is mutual benefit, newcomers need to know that to receive, they must also give, that we're all in this together, that we can't succeed alone, and that we rise by lifting others. Hive is so much more than just a way to make an easy buck, and the sooner people can grok that, the better. I'm happily offer to mentor any newcomers that ask me, or that my fellow Hivers onboard and direct to me. I promise to do everything that I possibly can to teach them everything that I've learned in my time here, and what I wish that I had learned earlier. Newcomer retention is a big issue, so I'll do my part help rectify it, one newcomer at a time.

Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, around 2:30PM, giving my attention to some photography for my posts first. Once I had a good batch, I went to Tutu's to collect some food supplies for the Landing, and that's where the unexpected happened. Chelsea, who was the only other idividual in Tutu's at the time, asked me about the work that I do in sessions, so I ended up giving her a good understanding of what I do, and also giving her a focused mini session right there in Tutu's. A lot of energy and emotion moved, which is a very good thing. I'll likely be giving Chelsea a full session later this week. By the time I left Tutu's it was already beginning to get dark, so I made my way across the property to the Landing, to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and then to head back to the Flow House, to finally get to my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications, quite a bit later then usual, by almost 8PM. Since I started so late, and because I wasn't able to catch up fully from the night before, I wasn't able to get through all my notifications again before I had to stop around 11:30PM, to do some asset management, and then to go to bed a little after 12AM. I woke up just before 7:30AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, getting out of bed around 8:30AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 12:15PM, so an excellent time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before preparing for a session scheduled for 1:30PM. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

Your willingness to help newcomers and share your knowledge is admirable.
I fully agree with you that Hive is a community that is built on mutual support and collective growth.
Your initiative to mentor is a great contribution, and I am sure that it will make a difference in the experience of those who are starting out.
Thank you for your commitment and for contributing to the strengthening of the community.

This fact is true for me

Starting is easy but continuing is where the bone lies.

Uptill now I still find it difficult to write everyday but with this post of encouragement I will endeavour to do more
