My Gardening Update

Hi Everyone,

It is with great pleasure that I'm welcoming everyone to my blog and I hope you're all doing well and having a great day and new start of the month of June. I'm here today to share with you all regarding my gardening activities at the back of my house.

Gardening has been one of my day to day activities especially during the raining season, I always find it easier to plant some crops, mostly maize because is one the crop I love most as it can be used to make different kinds of food.

It took me a while to make my post about my gardening during this raining season and that was due to some challenges I'm going through lately.

Planting my own crop is really what I love to do even if it's not much but at least I will be able get some fresh and first hand crop by my self.

The maize are growing well and look healthy as well

Plus the yam are also doing well, even though not all the yam I planted sprouts due to late rainfall and too much heat

If I haven't lose my count, this is the fourth year that I have been in to maize farming and blogging about it on hive right from planting till harvesting and sometimes processing.

Last year, I was able to have a bountiful harvest as I attempted yam farming and it all came out good. Apart from maize and yam farming which have already developing well in my garden as you can see in the pictures below. There are different vegetables like jute mallow, Lagos spinach which I always enjoy most times and that safe me from unnecessary spending especially since things are not really going well for me right now.

Today I just feel like posting some of my gardening activities and I will make sure to keep you guys update regarding my gardening stuff.
