Another week Another Battle Mage Secrets challenge, Every week we have the challenge to share battle specific rulesets. We will explain the strategy we use for that ruleset. To join this weekly challenge just follow Splinterlands.

• All units gain the Divine Shield ability which reduces the damage of the first attack received to 0.
• Divine Shield will be re-applied when a unit is Resurrected.
• Blast damage will remove Divine Shield.

For this ruleset, all first damage will receive 0 because of the divine shield. Even in the ruleset Noxious Fumes monster receive 0 damage for the 1st damage if the monster does not yet remove the divine shield. If you use a summoner or monster with divine shield ability it does not make double or add additional divine shield ability to the monster.

MY BATTLE

The battle I will show is one of my alt account playing in the bronze gold fray in Brawl. I have 5 accounts three of them playing in the Silver League using the Bronze deck and the other 2 are playing the Gold League using the Silver deck. the ign of my alt is tub3r02,tw1st10,bnovy.wam, orebutb3, and tub3r0 which is my main account.

• Rise of the Common
• Holy Protection
• 42 Mana

AVAILABLE MONSTER

• Fire
• Dragon

I use Brighton Bloom to give the fly ability to all monsters. Because the ruleset is Going the Distance the fly ability can help increase to evade the range attack of the opponent.

BATTLE LINE-UP

1st Position

GARGOYA DEVIL -Ranged attacker with flying and close-ranged ability. Gargoya Devil can attack in the first position.

2nd Position

MOLTEN ASH GOLEM - Ranged attacker with Close-ranged ability. Ash golem can attack in the first position because of its close-range ability.

3rd Position

NAGA ASSASSIN - Low mana ranged attacker. because of the speed and flying ability of the summoner, there is an increased chance to evade the range attack of the opponent.

4th Position

SUPPLY RUNNER - Range attacker.

5th Position

FLAMESMITH - Range attacker with shatter ability. To remove the shield of the opponent.

6th Position

TINDERLOCK - Range attacker with last stand and close-ranged ability. A monster can attack in the first position and the reason I place it in the last position is so that if Tinderlock remains standing or only monsters are left in the battle the last stand ability will activate.

ROUND BY ROUND BATTLE

ROUND 1

• Flamesmith kills Firecaller of the opponent.
• Martyr ability of Firecaller activate. Ash Golem of opponent receives an additional 1 to all stats.

ROUND 2

• Opponent Gargoya Devil kills my Gargoya Devil.
• My Molten Ash Golem kills the opponent Molten Ash Golem.
• My Tinderloack kills the opponent Gargoya Devil.

ROUND 3

• My Tinderloack kills the opponent Gargoya Devil.

ROUND 4

• Gobson Bomber kills my Molten Ash Golem.
• My Tinderlock kills Blood Maker.

ROUND 6

• My Flamesmith kills Supply Runner.

ROUND 7

• My Tinderlock kills Gobson Bomber.
• Battle ended in round 7.

• The flying ability can increase to evade the range attack of the opponent.
• In Going the Distance ruleset always includes monsters with close-ranged abilities.
