Last time I did made most of the surge, but this time I am holding on too...yet to press the panic sell button...since morning a lot is talked about on Binance...if there are some murmur, then their must be something serious about.

I am powering down because I want to change some Hive to HBD.

I'm just converting liquid hive to hbd, I leave the staked as it is, by the time you power down might have dumped already... I haven't cash out anything tough, just gone to hbd

With my luck, if I start a power down Hive plummets to 0. So I'll just Hodl, let everyone else cash out on the moon prices! I'll be sure to make a post when I intend on 'cashing out at the top', that way everyone has a few days warning for the inevitable crash haha!

Unless you're in financial need I do not see the need of powering down and selling your #hive

Not yet, but I will be doing if it continues to rise. I have no intention of leaving though, there are ways to get a lot out but end up with more. I'm sure you know how.

People can follow different strategies here. Maybe they will sell at a high price and buy hives at a low price. That way they will have more hives.

This is just the beginning of the altcoin season. There’s more to the rally.

I have been wondering the same thing but with smaller amounts of course.
It can be cool to have some liquid hive and play when you got the chance.
I think that for now I will leave it as is :)

The price is not yet a reason for a powerdown. Remember those who sold Bitcoin at 100, 1,000 or 10,000 dollars.
The only reason to power down (for me) is if you need the money.

I still praying hive drops soon so as to accumulate more hive. Buying at this price will be a big lost at this point we dont know if its going higher or coming down soon

Proudly joining you in the "No Power Down Club". Just kidding, I have nothing to power down anymore, already had to do it before but it still feels good to see the current pumps, even though we are still a far cry from the ATH. But who knows, maybe Hive will hit such levels one day that even my tiny leftovers will be worth something :)

But it's good joining the discussion forums.

The game theory is interesting. Personally I don't like the 3 month power down format. STEEM and BLURT went to the 1 month power down but I still think that is too long. I can see a case for a 3 day unstake like EOS had.

This is always the question for me also during a Hive Pump.
Power Down and sell...when?? I already sold my 1000 plus HBD and bought Hive during the bear under 20 cents, so the smart thing to do would be to buy back my HBD at a triple gain... and then buy Hive with the HBD or Leo... decisions decisions...
What is Hive goes to a dollar or 2 dollars?
Then I feel silly for selling at 60 cents even for 300% profit...
Thats probably greed and FOMO talking though...
Probably should book my gains and be happy to hopefully triple my HBD

I have not hit the Power Down button myself either.

Maybe if we go past $1 Hive, I might Power down 3-4K but definitely want to stay above 10K HP.

Good choice, man. I get very stressed when I sell Hive and see the price going up. I could have waited for it to go up a bit more or waited for it to go down a bit more and bought more Hive but we can't turn back time. I read your posts often and I see that you are doing a good job. I am also in favor of not doing Power Down. If I do one day, it will be so that I can buy more when the price drops. Or to cover some of my marriage expenses.

You know me, I'm an idiot for Hive and will remain here. That said, I am thinking of powering down, just to do what you suggest above, trying to sell on top and buy back when it goes down. But if I do power down, I'll probably lose my nerve and just power up again as soon as the first payment hits.

I already have plenty to do than guessing/gambling on the price of Hive. I just keep on; reading, writing, upvoting and make a few friends along the way.

It depends on what people want to do. I am not strapped for cash right now, and I think it's better to build right now. Maybe if prices pump a lot more, I might take some profits, but at this price, I will just collect the HBD and see where things go.

I am sure your right many are pondering that at the moment, I am thinking like you and will not power down, plus knowing my luck if i powered down it would temp fate and hive wouldtake a dive LOL

Still too small to power down. And if ever I do it, by the time I unstake my HIVE, the price is either back to where it started or close to it.

I think yes, I read SWAP.GIFU from one of your articles, and that's why I started accumulating it. 100k is the immediate goal.
