Bullish

I hear France is burning.

I hear Germany, the number 1 E.U. power, talking about bail outs and shit.

I hear the US bank deposits hit all time lows last month since the 1980s.

I hear more and more people all over the world struggling for basic necessities, but hey, at least energy got cheaper again.

I hear the war in Ukraine is still going strong.

Not to mention all the other problems that don't really exist, like climate change. At least we take drastic measures for that like banning plastic straws or stoves. Yeah, that will solve the problem. Or recycling....By sending all the garbage to China or third world countries. At least some really cool photos came out thanks to all those Canadian wildfires 😂 Summer has just began so we probably getting more soon 🎉

At least we have drag queens reading bed time stories in kindergartens and Hollywood forcing all that gay propaganda. At this point, it's so blatant it get's ridiculously cringy, like that transformer scene where the robot announces it/zeir/whatever pronouns. Here's a clip in case you missed that gay golden nugget

I even heard recently there is a new term now for pedophiles. MAP, for Minor Attracted Persons?!?! What the actual fuck? What were they thinking?

Dunno, I try to be optimistic about the future, but other than enjoying all the little everyday things, when I try to look at the bigger picture all I see is a slow yet accelerating decay all around. Left and right.

Maybe I grow old? Dunno, I always looked at the glass half empty but these days it looks to me like there's almost no water left.

To be fair, I see the occasional glimpses of hope. Like for example more and more people pushing back against all that forced sjw propaganda. But on the other I see them embracing total idiots like Andrew Tate or Robert Kennedy. Meh.

Speaking of politicians, it's good to see them getting more corrupted by the day. And dumber. Usually both. That gives me a lot of hope for tomorrow.

I recently came across this quote too, stroke me really hard. It's from FDR during the great depression. Can't get it out my head...

FDR knew the consequences of failing to seize the day. A visitor - unidentified in the press - came to him not long after the Inauguration and told him, "Mr. President, if your program succeeds, you'll be the greatest president in American history. If it fails, you will be the worst one." "If it fails," the new president replied, "I'll be the last one." source

Dunno, I'd be surprised if humanity managed to do any meaningful progression in this decade. Heck, I'd be surprised if civilization as we know it survived this decade.

I feel like when I was a kid reading all those history books about great civilizations that went down. I would always think "hey, all the signs were there why didn't they do something". Heh.

So overall sentiment? Bullish I guess?

Blackrock after all did file for BTC etf!!!!! See you on the moon boys 😂

To be serious, on the short term I think we will see some nice crypto price action, but nothing major after adjusting for inflation. Long term? I think I'd better stop procrastinating... and finally start digging my diy nuclear bunker just in case. Best case scenario, it will be a fun project 😎

Bullish on crypto hell yeah, about the rest of the world... it's all going to shit...

Just wait until China tries to invade Taiwan, things might get interesting. Of course the politicians in all their corrupt brilliance will manage to fuck it up somehow. And what the hell is the MAP? Things are getting sicker by the day and now transformers are using it's pronouns. Hollywood is full of absolute morons... Maybe all this will turn into Armageddon with nuclear war around the world...

Simple formula > create Moar and moar problems or dramas in the world to be Moar bullish.

Cheaper energy? No ser, I heard it is about to get more expensive here.

MAP, for Minor Attracted Persons

Tf... Now they're forcing us to hate Map.. only knew one map 🗾 and that's ruined.

I would always think "hey, all the signs were there why didn't they do something".

Thisssss thing hit differently...I mean, it's true.. we got all the signs right Infront of us but nah.. can't do nothing.

I think that having kids helps people realize how truly fucked this world is.

I'll disagree. My way of thinking hasn't changed much, except maybe on opposite. I try to see hope in places I wouldnt in the past. But facts are facts and the last decade hasnt been our best

I try to see hope in places I wouldnt in the past.

This is a perspective change, but I think having a kid also highlights how some of the things we accepted as "normal" earlier, really aren't normal at all - they are a mess. At least for me, I can accept that life is crap, but I don't want a crap life for my daughter.

Maybe I am an exception, my views on most things haven't changed. I have even become more tolerable and liberal compared to my past self, but that was a change well before having kids.

My same thoughts for my kids and grandkids and why I think my crypto may be more important than what I first thought it might be. My family may have left nothing as inheritances due to whatever they did, but there should be no excuse and I will hopefully leave something worth having. I just see a crap future for the next generations as not much makes sense currently and how and where they all fit in I do not know.

My previous @v4vapp proposal has expired. I have a new one which is running but unfunded right now. I'm still running @v4vapp and all my other services.

I've just updated v4v.app and I'm getting ready for some exciting new features after the next hard fork.

Please consider asking your friends to vote for prop #265 or consider unvoting the return vote.

For understandable reasons in the current crypto climate it is harder to get funded by the DHF, I accept this so I'm asking a wider audience for help again. I will also redraft this proposal with more details (coming soon). I'm also looking for other funding sources.

Additionally you can also help with a vote for Brianoflondon's Witness using KeyChain or HiveSigner

If you have used v4v.app I'd really like to hear your feedback, and if you haven't I'd be happy to hear why or whether there are other things you want it to do.

I used dial up a lot. I have to use wifi now... You don't have to agree entirely with someone to see value in that person. I see a lot of value in RFK. One of the few who proved to have ballz during the pandemic.

We just have to much info these days, and news are all negative becouse that get clicks and views .... humanity as a whole is much better now then ever... if you look at the pure data .... hunger, clean watter, as the most essential

Heh, this sounds like a standard text book response. It's been decades since for example people have been some much divided.

You like data? Check the ocean water temperatures. You like data? Check how many animal species go extinct every day.

You like data? Heck, let's make it easy. Check the life expectancy in most countries which today is back to 1996. And it keeps dropping. Does a dropping life expectancy sound like progress to you? :)

There's a lot of problems humanity has to face this decade. We can pretend they don't exist, but wishful thinking won't solve them. The train is about to hit the wall, you can pretend it doesn't exist only for so long.

From all the points you made here, the only one I can agree that is getting worse is the life expectancy and this is different for different countries .... its up for some countries in Africa down in the USA, and that's what we here in the news ....

Ocean temperatures, animal extinction, ... meh ... that's is not up to us, the weather/climate debate is extremally politicized and full with nonsense ... changing climate on Earth is a things since the Earth is formed and will continue to change because of the macro factors, Earths core, plates movement, Sun etc... there is nothing we can do about that.

For example do you know that the Earth magnetic field has cycles when it flip poles, north becomes south and the opposite. During the transition period (100 to 1000 years), the overall magnetic field is much weaker, and much more radiation will hit the Earth in that period, causing much more cancer etc. Completely out of our control.

Well let's just say if you don't believe in climate change and that the human species is playing an active role in it there's not much common ground we can agree on.

its up for some countries in Africa down in the USA, and that's what we here in the news ....

Lmao ok. Sure, somewhere in a shithole country things have gotten better. That's you counter argument? For the vast majority of people life has only gotten worse in the last 2 years.

Time passes slowly, yet quickly. Let's see what happens in the next two years and let's get back to this discussion. Is there a remind bot on hive? 😂

Well let's just say if you don't believe in climate change and that the human species is playing an active role in it there's not much common ground we can agree on.

There are things we cause yes, BUT they are used as an excuse from the rulling class to control people, similar as religon was adopted by the state in the purpose of control. Its a story old as time.

As for the other things, not sure what would be the thing we can mesure and say things are better or worst. As for example India is now the country with the largest population on earth. Can we say humanity improved if in two years India has higher GDP than now? This just as an example. What would be a mesarable mettric to monitor?

poverty, disease, expected life spans. Are these good measure for you?

There is an explosion of diabetes all over the world, India you mentioned is probably the place that got hit the most hard the recent years. Does that sound like a good metric to monitor? Same applies for many other diseases. We can discuss the whys, but that's a fact.

Life expectancy, we got that covered up I think. In most places it's going down, and from the data i see it will continue to do so in 2023.

Poverty, well most people are in worse position then two years ago. More and more struggling with basic neccesities. But to use the logic from your previous comment, bill gates and elon are doing just fine so maybe things aren't that bad!

What about political stability? Is that a good metric for you? Usa, france, blah blah. Not to mention far right ideologies emerging in many countries. And don't forget far left/sjw shit still going strong.

Pretty much am repeating what I mentioned in the post.

Do you see things getting better in the next decade? Even climate change, let's assume it's not man made and there is nothing we can do. The fact is the same. The enbiroment we live in is changing and not in a way that will benefin humanity anytime soon.

When you look a grand scale, qualify of life all over the world is increasing. It's certain that we'll have peaks and troughs, and we're arguably in a considerable trough on a grand scale now. However, humanity continues to find ways to be resilient and improve as we go along. The best of us are out there making the world better in ways that we don't even realize yet. It's inevitable that with all the improvements, the worst of us will get unmasked as well, but over time progress tends to triumph. Just think about how far we've gone in just the past 100 years, which is a tiny sliver of time compared to the scale of humanity's existence.

I think it's wise to focus on the small aspects of life that make it good. This is what's important to us. Life is just far too short to focus on all the negativity. I know you've already realized this... and I know you're grateful for your blessings. They'll look up to you as they grow up, and I'm sure they'll want to see dad happy. 😊

I genuinely hope so as well. I think our cynicism increases over time as we experience more negative things - it simply builds up in our minds, and inevitably, we hearken back to the "good old days." When we're children, we don't have the type of cynicism that we experience later on, viewing life through a different lens, and thus everything appears to be so much better when we retrieve our memories (I must make exception for children living in very difficult conditions).

Truly, I also hope that I'm right. Let me live in my little fantasy. 🤪
