They stole the obvious x profile, but they recently stole the music one as well. The guy behind music owned it for like 12 years and built up a lot of followers.

Yes, it is such a clear demonstration of the inherent frailties of #web2 platforms.

Ultimately, it’s probably good that this happened, because it is no longer hypothetical. More and more people will begin to take account ownership and control seriously.

I don't think they will. Very few actually value this in reality, or enough to make compromises. Everyone wants more security, but few will do what is necessary for it.

When I try to take Jack seriously, and say without profit driven decision in the background, as for his involvement with bitcoin, I'm coming to conclusion that all the time he spent on twitter in the last decade or two was a real torture for him.

On the other hand he was well of, he could have left at any time he wanted to, but didn't. So he is contradicting him self in his actions, and obviously there is a lie somewhere in between.

Yes, I’m not sure what to think about jack. My guess is that he might be sincere but just lacks genuine backbone and conviction.
