This was one of those mags I wanted to buy, so badly, at the few stores I saw it at. I could not afford it though - it was like $12 an issue back then (it being an import never really factored in my thinking, I was young). I would thumb through it at the store till the manager told me to buy or leave. lol

I'm not sure I actually remember seeing this one on the shelves. I know EGM had the Super NES Buyer's Guide spin-off but that never seemed worth buying. It was like a skimpy 32 pages or something, and I'm pretty sure some of that was just recycled content from EGM anyway. This one looks much better...
I only ever saw this at a couple of bookstores that were adept at importing publications. Supermarkets had the usual Gamefan, Gamepro, EGM, etc.
I agree, the EGM spin off mags were just regurgitated/reprinted material from the monthly issue - it was almost as bad as the Game Player's Buyer Guide Annuals (that were bad reprints themselves), at least EGM did throw in a couple of new pieces on a game or two though.
