Family is influential

Everyone comes from a family, no matter the size or how distant. Nobody just came out from anywhere. They must have people that brought them into this world.

Family is important because they are usually our first contact when we are born into this world. Family must not always be your biological parents or siblings. It could be the people that raised you. The people that trained you from infancy until you grew up.

The influence of family over anyone is profound. When you're born, you're like a blank page. Your mind is a clean slate. You begin to learn from the people around you. As a child, you start to learn the language your family speaks and the way they speak it.

You begin to copy behaviours, lifestyle. Kids copy what they see. That's why the action of the parents and the family around kids should be checked. When you see someone behave in certain ways, if you check their family, you'll figure out why they act that way. This shows you how much influence family has.

A family may be big on having family dinners occasionally. Maybe everyday, or every week, or even monthly, the family members gather to sit around a table. Even when everyone in the family are grown ups and have their independent lives, they still try to dine together. This tradition has a way keeping the family united. It strengthens bond. Over dining, family members can catch up with what is going on in each others lives.

The family members, most times, incorporate this tradition in their own individual families. This is the beauty of it.

Another tradition families usually have is celebrating milestones and holidays. If a child graduates school at different levels, the family celebrates it. Also different birthdays are always celebrated. Achievements are celebrated. A family like that imbibes a certain kind of character in a child that when the child grows up, they replicate it.

It's obvious that family has so much influence over any individual, and this is why family members should do everything possible to positively influence a child.
