My QSL cards collection | keeping promises

Good day dear mates! Idea to write this post born couple month ago when I was participating in Hive Humpday Hangout #HHH weekly show hosted by @ph1102 on discord @ecency server. If I'm not wrong it was 6th or 7th episode where guests could to introduce their communities. And one of guests was @mipiano She told us about community which she created. It was Hive Collectors community. At that moment while chatting in discord I wrote that I want to write post about my QSL cards collections.

So promises must be kept. And now I think I'm ready to show you my QSL cards collection. Or maybe at least it's part ;-) Let's start!
First of all I think it'll be good to tell you how I come to start collecting QSL cards. And what is QSL cards by itself?
If to talk briefly QSL cards are used to confirm two-way radio contact between two radioamateurs or let's say radio amateur stations. So this QSL cards can be written by radio amateurs or also by radioamateur who has so-called observer call sign and recorded a connection between two radio amateurs. Of course now it's available not only physical paper QSL cards but also electronic eQSL. More details about QSL cards you can find here
If to talk about me my radio amateur adventure began in the beginning of 2000th when I was studding. At that time I met guy who told me about radio amateuring and taught me Morse code, electronics and other things, but it's a little bit different story and maybe I'll tell you it in another one post. Now let's move to my QSL collection.
There you can find different QSL cards from different countries and continents. From some radio amateurs I received cards even several times. On photo bellow you can see QSL cards from Japan, Czech Republic, Slovenia Sweden, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands and other countries.

Some QSL cards are double-sided, with a front side and a reverse side with more detailed information. And some are one-sided and carry all the important information about QSO on one side like that green on in the left down corner or in the second row. Bellow you can see reverse side of QSL card from Croatia.

Now other cards from Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Belgium. Also in first three rows on the right side QSL cards from Vladivostok city which is located almost in 10000 km from my home city.

Or look at cards from Turkey, Japan, Kazakhstan, Austria, Seberia, Shetland Island, Poland, Srbija. Or this QSL cardfrom operator with callsign KH2E from Guam Island.

Some QSL cards and call signals can be dedicated to the special events or memorable dates, or even issued for special radio amateur expeditions for far corners of our planet. Look at QSL from Hawaii and Honolulu

Here you can see cards dedicated to sport events like Olimpic games or football championships.

And finally some QSL cards from expeditions and nature preserves.

And to finish my post I'd like with QSL cards dedicated to the date of birth E.T. Krenkel who had call signal RAEM and it was first radio amateur in USSR.

Here I could show you dear mates just a small part of my collection from different years because there are a lot of cards. I think even maybe nearly thousand.
Of course some QSL cards in my collection are old, some are memorable for me and very important as a memory about past days. But anyway as and before I'll continue to collect QSL cards.
