Supernatural Sights (Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden Photomode) - Gaming Photography Weekly Contest
I can't seem to get enough of the environments here, the lush forest areas, lakes, various mountains, all the stupid ghosts just ruining the sightseeing, yeah it was quite the doozy of a time. Especially with Antea, my spirit companion for the entirely playthrough.
Since this took place in 17th century Boston at the time, it's almost like a remote island close to it. Towns being separated by mountains, and dense forest areas. While being surrounded by the sea at large. The view kind of captures the feeling of pre-industrial timeline. When people would look at the horizon towards the sea and the sun, awaiting ships to arrive.
Also adding up to the haunting atmosphere that is pretty dense, and soothing sound design as well as the BGM. It was a pretty somber, refreshing time well spent. Despite the combat encounters which I enjoyed the less I played them. There were a lot of unexpected developments as well.
Red mc Raith lost a battle with a malignant nightmare, the strongest they've ever faced. As well as his partner Antea Duarte dying from the fight, he picks himself up after a witch assistant paid him a visit.
Leaning to ledges, climbing out while proceeding further into caves in search of Antea. Red found her spirit.
After their embrace, they followed a route out of the caves, finding a dense fog. Only way to find out what is going on is to look further into the depth of its abyss. Gradually finding the presence of the spirit world and the malevolent presence lurking about.
Antea discovers her new ability to slip pass a portal to the other side of the broken bridge. It was pretty neat to see how she did it. Judging by the state of the environment, the spiritual presence seems denser.
Small fights, some eventual encounters. But we came across a den resident named Jacob, who's a trapper waiting for his partner Ben. He doesn't seem to be in the best shape, little erratic, frail, shaken up, and repeating things constantly.
Food was also scarce, they both find out that Jacob and his partner have been going through the forest for seemingly days, weeks even without the proper nourishment.
If you can take a closer look to the left, that's meat for Jacob. Just trickling it down and eating in morsels. Also, there's maggots there too, which is an effect of the curse surrounding him though.
A fog blocks our way, Antea finds a nest that she could take out to clear the area.
We have found Ben, and we also made the discovery that his flesh was clean cut. One answer was pretty obvious. Ghost likes meat, and they probably have a chef somewhere (JK, Jacob went insane and killed his friend before eating him). I think we have our new blame recipient.
I know am making jest, but in a way, playing through this chapter was in a way, it's full of its own unexpected discoveries. Thank you guys for checking my post out. I'll keep posting if I can from this game. Crazy how it does ambiance and atmosphere well.

Well, the whole goal was to help his partner/lover Antea, find their way out. But on the way, he stumbles on a trapper whose hunting partner goes missing. The unexpected part was helping out a cannibal.
You have shown us some beautiful inside game photography. Good work
