Weekends Are For What??

Rightly said. And what is that?
Oh yes, I mean, Saturdays are for weddings🤭

I have a friend who usually has a slogan that says ” Another Saturday to marry the wrong person”
Well, in regards to the high rate of divorce in most places around the world and the endurance of majority parties especially in African homes, it became difficult to doubt this ideology.

However, I refuse to apply that slogan to my friend's wedding, as a friend and wish, a happy married life is what we pray for our loved ones.
However, I was informed late about her wedding which news came last week Wednesday. You grab the feeling of anger and excitement right?
Being informed late but then knowing it's better late than ever.

Having relocated to a different state for a year plus now made me less acquainted unlike my former residence where I knew a lot of people and so this made it the first wedding I attended in almost two years in my current residence.
Since the news came late, I had to work out with what I had, and I started by fixing myself up. My hair precisely was taken care of a day before the wedding.
I didn’t plan to go in a gland style and more of a simple way and that made me choose a wine color gown matching with a cream color footwear that matched my hand purse bag.

Fortunately, on getting there, I met with a few friends who I was familiar with and we took a table for ourselves and not long set out to take some pictures.
The wedding was equally a simple and smooth one and I happened to spend a total of 4-5 hours before taking my leave as I would need to restock a few items for my business.
I enjoyed every bit of the company and I must say it feels good to go out once in a while..
In conclusion, my day was simply spent in a warm filled atmosphere of love.
