(ESP-ENG) Cual Es Tu Olvido Cotidiano? - What Is Your Daily Forgetfulness?
Hola querida comunidad de @holos-lotus, en esta ocasión quiero ser parte de la iniciativa propuesta por @damarysvibra, donde nos invita a reflexionar sobre esas pequeñas cosas que hacen parte de nuestra vida y solemos olvidar, siendo así parte de nuestra cotidianidad y bien llamado olvido cotidiano. Que es eso que siempre se nos olvida? Que es aquello que siempre perdemos o embolatamos? Cuales son aquellas palabras que sin querer olvidamos y se nos queda en la punta de la lengua sin poder salir.
Hello dear @holos-lotus community, this time I want to be part of the initiative proposed by @damarysvibra, where she invites us to reflect on those little things that are part of our lives and that we tend to forget, thus becoming part of our daily lives and aptly named daily forgetting. What is it that we always forget? What is it that we always lose or blurt out? What are those words that we accidentally forget and that stay on the tip of our tongue, unable to come out?

Esa sensación de que tenias algo importante en mente y de un momento a otro no lo recuerdas, creo que es una de las peores sensaciones a veces sientes que es algo tan importante y tu mente no deja de trabajar hasta que recuerdas que es, aunque en ocasiones no lo recuerdas y quedas con ese vacío y pensamiento que estas dejando atrás algo importante. A veces parece que esos simples pensamientos son tan importante que tienen una relevancia mayor en tu vida.
That feeling that you had something important on your mind and suddenly you can't remember it. I think it's one of the worst feelings. Sometimes you feel like it's something so important, and your mind won't stop working until you remember what it is. Sometimes you don't remember, and you're left with that emptiness and the thought that you're leaving something important behind. Sometimes it seems like those simple thoughts are so important that they have a greater significance in your life.

Algunos trucos que uso para recordar mis pendientes: ponerme un hilo en el dedo en forma de anillo, de esta manera cuando siento en mi dedo ese hilo recuerdo que tengo algo pendiente. Una pequeña agenda donde apuntes tus pendientes mas importante. Hay un libro de Bryan Tracy que se llama tráguese ese sapo, que su idea mas importante es que debemos hacer lo que menos deseamos y mas trabajo nos cuesta, de esta manera salimos de esas labores tediosas de primero y tenemos el resto del día para nuestras labores y sentimos un alivio de la presión que esta tarea nos generaba.
Some tricks I use to remember my to-dos: put a piece of string around my finger in the shape of a ring, this way when I feel that string on my finger I remember that I have something pending. A small diary where you write down your most important to-dos. There's a book by Bryan Tracy called "Swallow That Frog," whose most important idea is that we should do what we least want to do and what we find most difficult. This way we get out of those tedious tasks first and have the rest of the day for our chores, and we feel relieved from the pressure this task generated.
De todos los olvidos el que considero peor, es olvidarse de vivir, como decía el cantante español Julio iglesias. Olvidarse de disfrutar de las pequeñas cosas, olvidarse de amar a tus seres queridos, olvidarse de agradecer cada día por todo lo que tienes en tu vida y dar por hecho que todo lo que esta a tu alrededor te pertenece y nunca te podrá ser arrebatado. De tanto andar corriendo en nuestras vidas, olvidamos que la vida se vive a cada momento.
Of all the forgetfulnesses, the one I consider the worst is forgetting to live, as the Spanish singer Julio Iglesias said. Forgetting to enjoy the little things, forgetting to love your loved ones, forgetting to be grateful every day for everything you have in your life, and assuming that everything around you belongs to you and can never be taken away. From rushing through our lives, we forget that life is lived in every moment.

Existen varios juegos y ejercicios mentales que nos pueden ayudar a mantener una mente mas activa y mejorar nuestras habilidades cognitivas, sopas de letras, crucigramas, sudokus, leer un libro, etc. Estos pequeños ejercicios ayudan a mantener nuestra mente activa y es muy recomendado para personas mayores o con problemas cognitivos como alzhéimer o demencia senil. Así que si es tu caso o conoces a alguien que sufra alguna de estas condiciones, no dudes en recomendarle iniciar con estos ejercicios cuanto antes y veras que los resultados pueden ser sorprendentes.
There are several games and mental exercises that can help us maintain a more active mind and improve our cognitive skills: word searches, crossword puzzles, Sudoku, reading a book, etc. These short exercises help keep our minds active and are highly recommended for older people or those with cognitive problems such as Alzheimer's or senile dementia. So, if this is your case or you know someone who suffers from any of these conditions, don't hesitate to recommend they start these exercises as soon as possible, and you'll see the results can be surprising.
