El calor en Maturín está fuerte, y el ventilador del aire de 24 mil BTU ya no daba más. No había presupuesto para un nuevo aire, así que con mis amigos Kiventh y Luis nos pusimos manos a la obra.

Cortamos las partes oxidadas
Lo pintamos para protegerlo y que no se viera tan golpeado
Lo montamos con cuidado
Y tuvimos bastante precaución con la conexión eléctrica de 220V

No fue fácil, pero lo logramos. Hoy ese ventilador está funcionando otra vez, y aunque no quedó perfecto, nos salvó del calor. A veces no se trata de tener lo mejor, sino de hacer lo mejor con lo que se tiene.

The heat in Maturín is brutal, and our 24,000 BTU AC fan had stopped working. Buying a new one wasn’t an option, so with my friends Kiventh and Luis, we decided to fix it ourselves.

We cut off the rusted parts
Gave it a fresh coat of paint
Mounted it carefully
And handled the 220V power connection with caution

It wasn’t perfect, but it worked. That fan is running again, and it’s helping us survive the heat. Sometimes it’s not about having the best gear—it’s about making the best of what you’ve got.
