I am well aware of your intelligence. I'm pretty smart myself. So let me expand on those I see and hear on the news.

There are numerous videos you can watch where senior staff of Trump's administration are saying the most stupid thing you can say. When a smart person starts to say some very stupid thing as a way of giving support to a leader you need to ask why?

In your statement you change the context of me saying "Those I see on the news....: into "anyone". That is a misrepresentation and you building your argument from it is not helpful.

Where I get so aggravated is that there isn't a country on the planet that doesn't suck on the US tit, and because Trump is cutting off the money supply, and you all are freaking the fuck out.

How much do you know about capitalism and economic cycles? Your making it look like the world cannot survive without USA playing a mother role.

Everything has a cycle. When it comes to business, owners will go where there is a profit to be made. After WWII USA demonstrated its ability to make lots of profits. Then it became desirable to pay employees a bit more and include some benefits. Well, if your greedy your going to want to externalize these new expense. Fast forward and suddenly, many USA companies are making profits outside of their country and not paying a fair share of taxes to help lower the national debt. Today, some self proclaimed genius is sayin that taxing the whole world would be a good thing. Why? How is that a good thing? The math does not add up and the repercussions of the extremely disruptive problem solving method chosen has mushroom the problem for everyone. I know that when USA sneezed that can easily turn out to be pneumonia for some countries because of the dependency on USA goods and service. Trump and his VP has made statement that USA does make anything anymore. What a crock of shit? Your still number one in the world when it comes to producing goods and service. You are because your greedy business owners help create a world dependent on USA goods and services. Today, those same greedy business owners know the business cycle and thus taking measures to combat the unfolding recession. And in response to this unfolding recession, the administration chooses to tax the world and blame everyone else for the problem they created.

When Trump first got in he was against NAFTA. What does he do? He goes on a mission to make the trading agreement better. Today, he is complaining about the trading agreement, again. In that agreement there are many places where it is clearly stated that if you do something outside the agreed parameters you would be breaking a legal document. In fact he has done so already and realized it cause he exempted Canada and Mexico in the last tariff attack. Now he has proven that he cannot be trusted to honor a trade agreement. Not following the law is the problem. Now I understand that Trump has until Monday to return an American citizen to USA that he sent to El Salvador. He breaks the law again, it will be more proof that USA is not governed by three equal branches of government.

I totally believe that NATO needs to be disbanded and let Europe fight it's own battles. It shouldn't be on our dime to protect anymore.

USA wants countries to spend more on defense and they place tariffs on those counties. Now these countries will look outside of USA to spend their defense budget. Another reason why using tariffs as a hammer does worse to an economy than a surgical application of a tariff tactic. Canada is small next to USA so we have to be wiser on how we fight back on the economic war we did not start. And because our sovereignty and protection is challenged we have to reconsider the intelligence information agreements currently in place. Trump created a new level of risk that was not a concern but sure is today.

I like Hive because I can make statements that I trust will not be deleted or edited. Now that doesn't change the fact that some people misinterpret what I post. It happens a lot where people do not spend much time reading carefully to help digest what is offered. As long as Hive is here working well I will always be able to go back and read what I said when challenged on a particular point of interest.

He is reciprocating alright.

He is creating confusion and it apparently works for the short term goals. One of his claims was Canada was charging 200% and as much as 400% on some dairy products. The trade agreement looks at the volume of trade for any particular product to ensure that volume is shared more equally. Now USA dairy farmers can be very demanding so to appease, the clause is that if you produce over a set amount then your will face higher tariffs. Those defined production limits have never been reached. The reciprocal tariff argument is a stupid argument. It gets lots of air time and thus used to misinform the people. Not everyone. Have you looked at the calculation used to decide what tariff would be applied as a reciprocal tariff? It is quite comical but mostly sad when the numbers just don't add up. I am reminded that figures don't lie but liars can figure.

I just wish that we could move on to other subjects in life other than talking about politics.

I am talking about what people say, do and the impact it has on everyone in the world. Group these people together and you define politic. No need for generalization on a group when we can speak about a specific person that is the root cause of a problem. Tariffs is not the problem but how it is being used in a particular way and why? The why is Trump and those supporting him at the highest level of governance. By those, I am not thinking about someone that voted for him. You can vote as you wish or not vote as you mentioned. Not voting is part of a systemic problem that needs to be solved and that will take many years. When our Prime Minister speaks of taking defensive action, it is not because of the American people but because of the current administration goal and objectives.

I believe we all have a purpose. My purpose is to influence change in a positive way so when I transform to another form of energy I will know I left Earth in a better state then how I found it. I'm ok with saying I am complaining. It motivates quality improvement. At least you didn't say it was all noise. It's a good narrative to spread. Maybe Westworld can create another series of narratives to watch play out.
