Three things that annoy me / Weekend Engagement #256

Like every human being, I have virtues and defects, fulfilled and unfulfilled dreams. In addition, I suffer and enjoy things that are similar for other people.

Likewise, I have things that annoy me, make me feel bad and make me angry.

In this post, participating in Weekend Engagement week 256, I want to leave you with three of the things that bother me

Irresponsibility

Those who know me know that the quality I admire most is responsibility and I don't tolerate things that are done poorly or to get out of the way. I clarify that when someone who works with me does something wrong out of ignorance or tries to do it in a responsible and conscious way, he/she has nothing but my admiration and my obligation to teach and help him/her to do it right.

But, the one who does things wrong because of irresponsibility has all my rejection.
There are two ways of doing things: well or just to get by. What is done well remains for life.

Unpunctuality

For me, late arrival is always unjustified and, it is something I do not tolerate, I am strict and I do not allow it.

Time is the most precious resource a human being has, because a second lost cannot be recovered. In addition, we have learned to live with this lack of respect for those who are on time in places waiting to start a meeting, an activity, a board meeting or other activity for people who are late.

And, if you have a love date and they don't show up at the appointed time, you immediately start thinking all the negative things in the world.

Breaking your word

When I make a commitment I do not break it because it is a matter of ethics to the maximum and my word of honor is my best letter of introduction.
There are people who ask for money until a certain date or promise to do a job or something else on a certain date and you prepare everything, change plans and stop doing things because of that commitment and the person who was going to do the job does not show up. That bothers me a lot.

There is a text that I learned by heart that says: “In life, the most sacred thing is the word; if we give it, we must keep it, for better or for worse”.

What do you think?

Note: I have used the translator DeepL Translate.
The images were taken from my family album.

What great truths you have said, I am responsible, I believe too much and I like people to be responsible, that's why I understand you. My word is super important and when I give it I strive to keep it and I expect that from others. Thank you very much!

I wish there were more responsible people in the world to make things better and life more pleasant.
I have seen how many people do not keep their commitments and that is the cause of many problems.
Grateful for your reading and comments.
Happy weekend.
Cheers and best regards.

I believe there is a very serious breakdown in our society. People have lost values that degrade our rules of coexistence... and this lack of discipline is in many ways related to how we live, and how we perceive life around us... It also has to do with the higher order that governs us, but that does not justify tolerating lateness, irresponsibility, and failing to keep our word.
