I heard about this way to grow your account which is power up which is done every first day of the month.
But, I don't know how it is done or how much HP I should put or donate or what benefits I get.

Yes that's right, the first of every month if you will. The advantage of growing is you give bigger upvotes when you vote which in turn gives you bigger curation rewards in return.
