The Little Book Of Ikigai

Recently , i found a book that i actually buy back a few years before . I didnt actually finish the book because i was following my own dream to go out , travel and see the world . The book left alone at home with nobody read it . Lucky it still in good condition and i think that i ll start to read as much book as i can before i travel again .

The book is about words Ikagai . Ikagai was a combination of two words that come from Japan .

First word - IKI which mean (to live)
Second word - GAI which mean (reason)

Combination both of it giving another meaning of the reason of living .

In Japanese land , the samurai was living for their lord . Their lord give the meaning of living in their vocabulary and when their lord was die , most of Samurai was living without any reason . Everyday , they just become wind . Just think about the drunker at your place ( i believe there was always one drunker) that stay at each of our places who live nothing than drunk all days. The worst thing was the samurai prefer to die with their dead lord because they feel there is no reason to live anymore.

IKIGAI give everyone reason to live .

It doesnt matter how small our desire or reason to live , those IKIGAI that we found inside each of us give us the reason to wake up everyday.

Person without IKAGAI is similar to zombie . There was no meaning of life but they still live . There was no burning desire in each of them makes they stop growing .

IKIGAI give our life a purpose ,which giving us the grit to carry on .

Like at the first pharagraph ,

IKIGAI is about discovering , defining and appreciating those of life's pleasures that have meaning for you .

As we will see together , having IKIGAI can literally sharpen our life . It promote to live longer , have good health and happier .

I ll share more about it as it also benefit me as im learning and reading about . :).
