We Are Our Own Problem

In this one life of ours, I have come to understand something: humans are never perfect, no matter how good we are. There is always some inadequacy in every human being. I do not know how powerful, knowledgeable, or vast you may be in all ramifications; there will always be something lacking that needs to be filled. That is life for you.

The heart of man is relatively evil, and who can truly know it? We tend to shift blame and often refuse to take responsibility for our actions. We are too emotional and frequently act impulsively because of our situations and conditions. We are quick to judge, throw shade, and look down on people, even nailing them to the cross simply because we have the power to do so.

We speak about giving to charity, yet sometimes our actions create the very predicaments that force people to depend on the chamarginalisedr claim to offer. A family becomes displaced and marginalized; a man is oppressed and looked down upon, forgetting that he comes from a family too. We act righteous and holy, but our actions say otherwise. As humans, we are ofrealise own problem. If we follow biblical analogy, we would realize that humans blame the devil for many things, yet we are quick to commit evil and unwilling to shun iniquity.

Humans can be devilish; we backbite and do things that favor only ourselves. You see friends blackmailing friends because of what they stand to gain. You hear someone say, “If I cannot have it, then you cannot have it either.” We have turned our world into a battlefield where only the strong survive. Everything has become about “I have this” and “I have that.”

Many of us are quick to anger and easily spoil things. It is normal to feel angry, but we should not allow anger to destroy relationships or valuable opportunities. Many people have burned bridges that are difficult to rebuild. I have heard of friends turning against one another and even siblings going against each other. The nature of man can be perpetually inclined toward evil, changing the order of things to suit personal wants and needs.

We are just one kind of being. I remember when I was in school, one of our professors mentioned that there was a time in his family when appointment letters for different jobs, positions that others struggled greatly to obtain, were easily handed to them. It got to a stage where they had to choose which one to accept.
He said we all contribute to the way the world is, whether for good or bad. We are pilots of our actions and decisions. He emphasized that we should not be too quick to judge, because we can never truly tell what we might do if placed in similar conditions or situations.

There is another category of people who never see the good in what others do. Though they themselves are not perfect, they are quick to judge and criticize. They rarely support but are always ready to point out mistakes without offering meaningful help.
Some people burn bridges yet act as though they are the victims. I have seen individuals fight on behalf of others simply to create more enemies. They recruit people to hate you and paint you black and blue, portraying you as the evil one.

Life is what it is. Many people are battling depression, and the best we can do is to be kind and forgive when necessary. No one knows tomorrow. We can choose to breathe into life the goodness we hope to see. Life is temporary, and we must live in a way that makes this world a better place for the coming generation.

Man's heart is greedy and that's why we currently have tinubu as president when other countries have already advanced in healthcare and development. In reality though I've seen different aspects of life and met different types of people.

I agree with you on this, a nation has a kind of leader it deserves. There is a lot of uncertainty and evils going on st different sections in Nigeria yet we are a nation known for many religions centres. No morality whatsoever, we only do what suit our own purpose and mostly pocket
