You really brought up some serious points here. Honestly, it is hard to call fear "irrational" when there are real events backing it up. All those examples you gave, the French teacher, the girl in Nigeria, they’re not just stories, they actually happened.
At the same time, though, I think it’s important not to lump every Muslim together. Most Muslims aren’t terrorists. It is the extremists that mess everything up and make the whole religion look bad.

I'm not generalizing, just saying that there is a real threat about Islam and that fearing it isn't irrational at all.
I agree with you. It is a religious meant for peace, but what do they do? The extreme fight for their God, what an irony.
