Movie Review; When Love Returns.

This movie is such an interesting movie to watch, titled 'When Love Returns,' produced by Omoni Oboli. This movie starts with Mr. Afolabi's family, with their daughter named Bola and her fiance eating at the table, and the only thing they're discussing is business. The daughter gets angry and goes out, and the fiance follows her to see what's wrong. She says, 'Why are they discussing business on my birthday, and why is it that the only thing they always say is all about them, not hers?' Later that night, her mother goes to wish her a happy birthday in her room.

Bola is still angry, wondering why her father is discussing business with her fiance on her birthday, and why everything is always about him, not her. Then her father comes in and says Bola has no choice but to marry her fiance because he's the best man for her, but Bola doesn't love him. Her father just wants to force her into the marriage because his family is rich, and he wants to build on their rich legacy.

Meanwhile, there's a guy called Uzo, who was in his shop when his niece Joy called him, and he rushed to the hospital to find his niece crying. Her mother had been rushed to the hospital. As they were talking, and Uzo was consoling his niece, the doctor came to inform him that her sister wanted to see him alone. Uzo went inside, and his sister told him that Joy wasn't her daughter; a doctor had forced her on her nine years ago, and she wanted Uzo to find Joy's parents. She gave him the only information she had the doctor's number. After that, she died.

Uzo went out to tell his niece that her mother has died and console her, and that's when he met Bola. They flashed back, and that's when we know Bola and Uzo were lovers in school. They loved each other so much, but they were forced to separate because Bola's father sent her to another country and locked Uzo up for days. It's been nine years since they last saw each other. Uzo asked what Bola was doing at the hospital, and Bola explained that she was running an NGO on cancer awareness so that people could be aware of it at an early stage. Bola gave him her card, and they went their separate ways.

At home, Uzo was trying everything possible to console Joy. After a few weeks, Joy was doing better, but she started researching cancer because that's what killed her mother. She had a lot of questions but Uzo didn't know the answers. Joy told Uzo to help her call Bola because she heard Bola talking about her NGO in the hospital. Uzo didn't want to bring back memories, but he was forced to because of Joy. Eventually, Bola was invited over and answered all Joy's questions. Joy was happy, and she began to ask a lot of questions, like where Bola and Uzo met and if they would become husband and wife.

After that, Uzo started searching for Joy's parents because he promised his sister. He visited the doctor, but the doctor denied everything. However, Uzo put a record under the doctor desked, after he left, his friend visited the doctor, pretending to be a patient, and took the records. They traced the doctor to Mr. Afolabi, Bola's father. Mrs. Afolabi was shocked and asked her husband to confess if he had another mistress outside. Just then, Bola and her fiance entered, and she was surprised to see Uzo in her house.

Mrs. Afolabi asked Uzo how old the child was, and he said nine. She asked for the girl's birthday, and he said April 9. It started making sense - the child is Bola's own, and her father lied to her and her mother that she died. Bola started crying, and Uzo and his friend were shocked by how wicked Bola's father was. The child is Bola's own, and Uzo is the father. Bola got pregnant when they were in love in school, and her father locked her up until she gave birth and lied that the child died.

At last, Uzo and Bola finally united with their child and live in peace, and Mr. Afolabi begged them. The movie is very interesting, and I rate it 8/10. I learned that parents should stop forcing their children into marriages; it's wrong. The father went to the extent of hiding her daughter's child because he wanted to control her life, but in the end, love wins. Well, I love their love story and it go in live with the title truly love return.
