Looks like I'm due for a new laptop soon... any recommendations of laptops with dedicated GPU? Doesn't need to be a beast of a machine, just a basic one that can run a few lightweight games will probably do

Haven't been watching laptop prices or specs in a long time, but damn, my ASUS ROG has been one tough bastard! 😅
Have been using this for 7-8 years, as long as I've been in crypto, and no issues whatsoever, still like new! Yeah, pretty expensive back then, but the best purchase I've ever made. 🤩
Yeah ROG stuff is solid!
Very! 💪
But for one #computing folks for just "doing" crypto - thin client with remote host would more cost effective - has downsides.

True. 👍
But that concept is not widely none to none-tech what ever people :D

Cool! Thanks for the tip! I have a couple ASUS models in my shrotlist so it's good to hear this kind of feedback
You're welcome! Indeed, a very solid one. 💪
I have a lenovo ideapad 3 i7 intel iris xe graphics at work that surprised me on it's performance. I have an MSI GL65 Leopard that cost 700$ more and the Lenovo has a close feeling. It's discontinued now but if you can manage to get one you wouldn't regret.
Another option is to get a new version of Ideapad Lenovo series but with a dedicated GPU would be more expensive currently. I got mines for about 700 EUR.
Thanks for your input! I heard from a few people that Lenovo laptops are a good bang for the buck! Definitely will check them out
