Tirtoagung Park
A park that is part of the city and environment is certainly an important thing to pay attention to. Have you ever imagined a city without parks? It would definitely be very strange. Although there are cities that have minimal parks.
The most grateful thing about my visit to Semarang is that there are so many parks in the city that I can visit. Imagine if we are tired of driving because the roads are congested or the distance is long, then the first thing that comes to my mind are two: a mosque and a park. Parks can be an alternative for a short break, especially those that have green areas and lots of seating.
One of the parks that I visited while waiting for something was TIRTOAGUNG park located in the Tembalang area.
GREEN AND NEAT TIRTOAGUNG PARK
Like many city park layouts in general, from the very front there is of course a signage as a marker and so that people can easily find the place.
Then immediately greeted by short pillars with paths covered with paving blocks. These pillars are lamp pillars that provide light when night falls.
After the lamp area, the next arrangement is a circular seat that is all made of cement material and a combination of stones as a cover on the outside. Even without a head covering, this area will be very comfortable to use when the sun has set. This is a dense area and it seems that this park is also crowded with visitors from evening to night.
See how the trees in this area are arranged still with a close distance so that, even though it is hot, the air in this area is quite fresh. After the front area which is dominated by paving block paths, other paths that surround the park are made of stones that are arranged so neatly. Trash cans are also neatly arranged, I didn't see any trash scattered around. Of course this is a combination of visitors being aware of cleanliness, and the cleaning management working responsibly.
In the play area there are swings, slides, small bridges for children to play, and there are several other games that can be entertaining for children who visit Tirtoagung Park. You can see for yourself how clean it is in almost all areas, right?
Now in the corner of this park, there is a board for wall climbing. There are three wall climbing zones. Two are red, and one is black. The black one has a next level of difficulty from the other two.
I sat here for a while with my friend. It is a comfortable park because, even though it is right next to the highway, when you are in this park it is not too noisy. And one more thing, this park is next to a fairly large mosque. So, when visitors to the park need to go to the mosque to perform their prayers, it is very strategic here.
When I was there, because it was afternoon and on a weekday, it was not too crowded. There were only a few students who were gathering with their friends, and one family who was relaxing at the end there. I know, because I went around to take pictures with my cellphone. Ha ha
So, what do you think? Is the design and layout of this park really fun?
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.

Very beautiful place, the garden is beautifully designed ❤️🙏
yeah i know, that's why i can stay here for so long.
Thank you
Tirtoagung Park looks like such a peaceful and well-designed spot! I love how clean and organized everything is. From the neat paths and trash bins to the shaded seating areas. The addition of a play area and even a wall climbing zone makes it feel like there’s something for everyone.
If I were part of that city, I would be proud to have beautiful and green parks to take a break like Tirto Agung Park. Agreed, it is clean and well-maintained. Thank you
The park is beautiful, it has swings and slides for children, the columns at the entrance and the traffic circle have a nice design.
Which certainly also helps parents when they want to take their children to play outside without worrying about being disturbed by passing vehicles, or the heat of the sun. This is very family friendly.
City parks are indeed our destination to sit and enjoy the trees. Especially while reading a book under a tree. It feels really good. Thank you for sharing, sis. Hopefully someday I can go there.
Yes, that's right. a green garden and a book are like a natural match. thanks for the support.
