Me Time to Celebrate My Favorite Movie Anniversary
Yep… I just celebrated the return of my favorite movie to the big screen as a celebration of its 10th anniversary. Who else if not Christopher Nolan's work, INTERSTELLAR.
Released in 2014, and for the global Interstellar is indeed 10 years at the end of 2024, but for my country, it will only enter theaters in mid-2025. Even so, the public's enthusiasm for Nolan's work is indeed hard to fade. Evidently, on the first day of the relaunch of INTERSTELLAR in IMAX, almost all the audience seats were full.
I, who was at home, was very enthusiastic to welcome back the Cooper family and their equally intelligent daughter, Murphy. Dressed up neatly with a hundred percent enthusiasm. Do you know what it feels like to visit a past that you still miss? Yep… that's what I felt on the day I was going to watch INTERSTELLAR.
I ordered tickets that were not too late because the cinema was quite far from where I live. Not to mention, the entire road was a congested area. Initially, I made an appointment to watch it with a friend of mine who happened to live nearby. But, unfortunately, his work schedule did not allow us to watch together, so I immediately ordered one ticket via the application and went alone.
Of course I was not angry, I really appreciate my friend. I was also very excited for today.
After traveling for about thirty minutes, I finally arrived at the IMAX studio at Gandaria City Mall. Because the show time was still about 30 minutes away, I deliberately went in and walked around casually. I saw an event for the launch of a brand of clothing specifically for Muslim women that was on the rise, my friend said, the event was attended by famous artists from the capital city.
I also had time to see a new display statue at Gandaria City Mall that resembled a familiar book cover. A statue that resembled the cover of the book The Adventures of Don Quixote really stole my focus.
After taking a few photos of the statue, I immediately rushed to the IMAX which was on one floor.
When I arrived at iMax, I immediately scanned the barcode for the ticket I had ordered, then I looked for an empty seat to wait. Because almost all the waiting chairs were almost full. Not long after, I asked a visitor to take a photo of me at the Interstellar poster as a souvenir.
I was touched because someone who was willing to take a photo, turned out to be so kind to take it with intention that the photo results were good. I am very grateful to that person.
A few minutes later, the announcement to enter the studio, and we sci-fi film lovers were ready to be amazed by the beauty of the universe from Nolan's work.
What a beautiful day!
For more than two hours, the feeling was still the same. Feeling touched, amazed, sad, and nervous with the actions of the characters, I admit, Interstellar must have a 3D version. ha ha ha. I imagine it will feel like flying into the sky through the atmosphere, going to planet after planet to find new life. Wow ... it will feel very amazing.
Finally I managed to reunite with my past love: INTERSTELLAR
Thank you for today.
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.

I love this movie too, I'm a fan of science, the universe and science fiction, and yet I didn't see it in the theater at the time, I would love to see it on the big screen like you have. Thank you so much for co-sharing these images, I got so excited reading you!...
