LOVE.exe K-Drama Review

Hello, K-drama lovers... this year there are so many great dramas in a variety of genres, from thrillers to romantic comedies. Coincidentally, I just finished watching a teen drama with a very light genre. It's a romantic story about college students.

LOVE.EXE

The story begins with the friendship of three telecommunications students named: Joo Yeon San (Hwang Ba Reum), Kang Dong Won (Kim Min Seo), and Yang Na Rae (Kwon Yeung Eun). At the beginning of the story, the conflict that occurs in their campus world is the merging of the modelling and telecommunications faculties, which is met with strong opposition from each faculty.

The telecommunications students strongly object to the modelling students, who they think are very disruptive, and vice versa. Therefore, Kang Dong Won, as the representative of the student executive body, continues to plan a protest to the dean.

Meanwhile, Kang Min Hak (Kim Yo Han), an influencer with one million followers, enrolled in the modelling school at Hangang University, where the drama is set. Min Hak's arrival, which attracted the attention of other students, also made him a central character as he will be in constant contact with the female lead, Joo Yeon San. San and Min Hak experience a turbulent relationship of love and hate. San was Min Hak's first love when he was younger, but San is unaware of this. It's like a smooth love destiny... there are no significant problems in this 16-episode drama.

To be honest, there are now many Korean dramas that only have 12 episodes. Love.exe brings back the old format with actors who are not too prominent, but all the stories flow smoothly and are enjoyable.
It doesn't just focus on the love story between San and Min Hak, but also the complex relationships between their friends and their respective love stories. Dong Woon with his girlfriend and Na Rae with her complicated new partner. Everything is packaged into an interesting story in Love. Exe.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Joo Yeon San

He is a computer genius whose life is very rigid but meticulous. In my opinion, San is a cool character. He doesn't really care about other people's opinions or how the outside world works for him, as long as what he does doesn't break the rules, which means he feels his life is fine. Because of that, San is also very straightforward and blunt.

  • Kang Min Hak

I once imagined what I would do if I met a handsome but very stupid man like Min Hak. My answer is that I would not be interested. That's what happened with Min Hak. He is a visual owner who is very popular with young women and has a million followers, but he is not good at studying. It runs in his family. They rely heavily on visuals. However, the best thing about Min Hak is that he has a very sincere heart. He is kind, and because he is so kind, he is often deceived, from his brother who is also his manager, to his girlfriend, Jinny. Kang Min Hak's kindness leads to his sincere love for San. In the end, I liked the character Min Hak when he slowly fell in love with an ordinary girl named Joo Yeon San.

SUMMARY

I would recommend this drama if you like light teen stories with fresh visuals from Kim Yo Han and Hwang Ba Reum. It's a drama that can fill your days when you're feeling bored. Who knows, watching Love. Exe might make your life exciting again. How about it? Want to add it to your list? I'll wait for your review! See you in the next review...

I don't usually like K-dramas very much, but lately I've seen some Korean series with different themes that I found very interesting.
