Finding Flat Shoes at Rita Supermall

There's always an unfortunate incident when we travel. What happened to me that day was that my shoes broke. I'd brought shoes I hadn't worn in a while, as I don't usually wear them. And it was also my fault for not checking the condition of the shoes before using them for a night out.

The result was something I didn't want. The soles of my shoes came off while I was exploring Baturraden. Baturraden is a very large family nature park, and it turned out my shoes were too old for navigating the various terrain and the long distances. As an emergency, I bought that famously strong Korean glue to keep me from dragging, worried that the soles would come off on the way. That would be embarrassing!
But my efforts were in vain. The glue didn't stick well.

Because the situation was urgent, my friend and I ended up walking to the town square, which was only 500 meters away. Across the town square was the city's large mall, Rita Mall. I hurried to leave before it started to rain. In less than ten minutes, we arrived at the mall and immediately went to the place where I could buy emergency shoes. They weren't necessary, as long as they were comfortable. On the first floor of the lobby, there was a clothing and shoe bazaar. I browsed around, but nothing suited me. So we went up to the next floor and found a fairly large clothing store.

After wandering around and considering a few things, I finally found a pair of maroon flats to wear the next day. After finding the right pair, I went to the cashier and paid.

After that, I went back around and took pictures of the crowded Rita Mall.

For a small town, Rita Mall is amazing. It's big and well-stocked. Even my hometown isn't as well-stocked. I took pictures of a few things, like the DUNIA ANAK toy store and the cosmetics stores. After all, cosmetics stores always have a certain magnetism, even if we don't buy anything. I also took a photo of the ceiling of the building, which is shaped like an eye.

Look, doesn't it look like a giant eye? An eye that watches over visitors to attract more buyers, LOL.

That concludes my shoe hunt for today. These beautiful maroon shoes will accompany me to many more places.
