FAMILY TIME: Enjoying Es Teler Durian

Hi, Foodies... How are you all doing? Is there a food that almost all of your family members love? Something you often eat together when you have the chance to gather? In our house, there are six family members, and five of them absolutely love durian. This seasonal fruit is only found in tropical countries and has a distinctive, pungent smell. Have you ever tried it?

And because my return home a while ago coincided with durian season, I ate quite a lot of durian, either because I bought it or because my aunt, who has a durian tree, gave it to me. However, there was a day when we went to an es teler shop to enjoy the durian topping. Originally, es teler does not use durian, but some shops offer an extra durian option. So we set off on three motorbikes. Me with Rendra, my sister with my brother-in-law, and my mother with her eldest grandchild.

After riding for about 20 minutes, we arrived at KEDAI DAWET DURIAN BAR BAR.

When we arrived, the shop was not very crowded. So we went straight to the order counter and chose several items according to our tastes, including: Regular Es Pisang Ijo, Regular Es Teler Durian, Roti Bakar, Regular Fruit Soup, Regular Durian Soup, Roti Maryam, and Dimsum Kuah.

After ordering, we immediately looked for a place to sit and took photos together first. After all, it was very nice to be able to gather and eat together with family on a sunny day like today.

We didn't have to wait long for our orders to arrive. Look... aren't these menus very appetising? For those of you who like sweet desserts, all of these menus are highly recommended. We enjoyed our respective orders. I saw my mother really enjoying her durian ice cream. I was happy to see her healthy and eating heartily. She is our darling.

My family is the type that likes to eat together, and I am grateful for that. I also always pray silently that when I have my own little family someday, I want it to be like this. Eating together as a way to bond with one another.

That day ended with us feeling full and happy. However, it didn't end there because Rendra wanted to go to the square, which was very close to this shop. Finally, we moved to another place and continued exploring the square afterwards.
