DST LIteracy Community Meeting

It's already the second week of November. Since August is our country's independence month, there are already many pennants along the streets to celebrate the month.
However, there are things I'm grateful for, like meeting friends in the literary community who have become like family. This time, the meeting was to discuss the legality of the community, which was directly organized by the community members. The afternoon meeting was held at Professor Atik Bintoro's house. Usually, several female members attend, but for some reason, I was the only female member who could attend that afternoon. But no matter. The important thing was that the meeting went smoothly.
Since that day was in Bogor, which is quite far from my home, I decided to take the train. Initially, Kaifin offered to let me go with him, but after considering it, I decided to take the train, while Kaifin could pick up our senior, Mr. Uki Bayu.
The attendees included: Mr. Uki, Mr. Yoyok, and Prof. Atik as the advisors, along with Mr. Didik, Adang, Kaifin, Beni, Andi, and me. In that intimate meeting, before discussing legal matters, we first greeted each other and engaged in light conversation about self-development. This is a session I always enjoy because the seniors often guide the younger members in critical situations like ours. Ha ha ha

What was enjoyable was the warm discussion, with occasional laughs and positive exchanges. There was no hate speech. We simply focused on life, work, developments in the realm of literacy, and other hot topics. Furthermore, the host, Prof. Atik, also served us a hearty meal of rice and soto tangkar (a type of Indonesian soup), along with some snacks and fruit. Everything was finished while we chatted, and as the evening approached, we began to focus on legal matters and other planning.
I never get tired of being part of their group. Because they span generations, I can learn a lot from them. Such as advice, policies, and even how they respect younger members.
It was a wonderful day. I left feeling fulfilled and happy, with many things to reflect on about myself, including gratitude.
That concludes my review of my meeting with friends at Dapoer Sastra Tjisaoek. See you next time.

Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
please share my content if you feel my content is good for everyone to read. Thank you. Let's be friends!
It looks like a wonderful day with beautiful weather to sit together and discuss something that will benefit all.
What a nice kind of club seems a place where you feel comfortable with people with same interests I really like the fact that you reunited outside and sharing food of the prof!!
That's right. Thank you
