Cinema Date With Nephew
This was very coincidental because my oldest nephew was very curious about the sensation of watching cinema. So one sunny day, my nephew and I went to the new cinema in the sub-district where we live. You know, I was really excited about this, because for such a small sub-district area, to suddenly have a cinema was great. Usually, I have to travel at least an hour to get to the cinema. But you know how long it takes to get from my house to the cinema in our sub-district? Less than 10 minutes. LOL.
You know why I'm so grateful.
Well, after booked the tickets through the app, my nephew and I headed to the cinema by motorbike.
After we parked the motorbike, we immediately entered the building and printed the tickets that we had booked. Because I was very late, we went straight into the studio. At first, I offered my nephew to buy food or drinks, but apparently he was reluctant and wanted to go straight in, so I just followed what he wanted.
After sitting in our rightful seats, we enjoyed the JUMBO animation for about two hours. You know, Jumbo has almost 10 million viewers. So, this is an Indonesian animation with a children's theme that I think is very good in terms of storyline and also a lot of moral messages conveyed for children. My nephew really enjoyed it.
After finishing watching, the cinema was very crowded for the next screening. My nephew and I headed out because we were getting hungry. When I asked my nephew what he wanted to eat, our choice fell on Mie Jago. The one selling Mie Jago was my childhood friend. I salute him for being willing to run a business and being consistent. Mie Jago has a rather thick noodle texture. The menu on this noodle is from level one to level five. I chose level four, while my nephew chose level 2 only.
We enjoyed the day happily and went home full. You see, I actually have two nephews. If you're wondering why I only invited one and not both of them, it's because my younger nephew can't handle air-conditioning. Yepp... you read that right. He really hates air-conditioned rooms. What's his reaction? Well, he'll get nauseous, vomit or dizzy instantly. So, I didn't want to invite her. And she's also willing to take it even if I don't.
About Mie Jago, I ordered a juice drink, while my niece chose sweet iced tea. I really like the flavour sensation of Mie Jago, which is a combination of spicy and sweet sauce, so it doesn't burn my tongue even though I ordered level 4. We enjoyed our menu in a relaxed and cosy manner. After this, we will really go home because it's already very late.
Thank you to the animators and filmmakers for bringing JUMBO to our holiday. And also for accompanying the holiday for the children. Hopefully there will be more works by animators and filmmakers who produce cool cool works. That's all my writing in this hafri. Thank you to the readers for following my story. See you in the next post.
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
