I missed one Power Up… and ruined my whole year

Alright my lovely people… I need some advice. And maybe an answer too. Or maybe this already exists and I’m just blind and didn’t see it 😅

So… last year my husband and I decided we will power up every first day of the month. Easy, right? Finally, I’ll get that badge 💪
And what happened?

It was January 1st.
I was not completely sober to confess… my husband neither 😂
We basically slept through the whole day 😒
BUT! I had reminders on my phone for every 1st of the month, so I thought: there is no way I’ll forget.

Of course… what did I do?

Reminder pops up → I tell myself “oh, I’ll do it later” → phone down → brain empty → totally forgot.

And yes… I already fucked up.
I’m mad at myself because I KNOW myself. If I say “later”, it means too late. I’m that kind of person 🤦‍♀️

This was one of my goals for this year… and boom, failed on day one.
So… badge this year? Gone? First goal, first dream crushed? How stupid of me 😔🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Now, power ups, money stuff, staking, buying… that’s usually my husband’s area. I think most of you know how this works 😄
I’m learning too, but I’m still better in front of the profile than behind it.

Also, that’s not even why I’m on Hive.
I’m here to write, to talk with you, to find great people and great articles, and to support users who write with heart.
We love to support others, just like many of you supported (and still support) me ❤️
And let’s be honest…it feels amazing when people actually read what you write. It gives confidence. It tells you: hey, I’m doing something right.

This year I decided something important…
👉 I will do the power ups myself. Not my husband.

And… I failed.
I’m not proud of it. And yes, my husband has full rights to remind me every now and then how I screwed up 😅
It’s my fault.

I still have many goals for this year, but this was the first one.
And on the first day of the year I already showed my bad side 😒
Pfffr…
Anyway, I’m still doing it, even without a January power up. No excuses 😤

So… what was my question?
(Wow, I’m like a YouTuber: “I have a question for you” and then talk forever, and the question is at the bottom 😂😂)

We live in a bot world…
👉 Is there a bot that can automatically power up every month? Or even every day?
I’m really curious.

I know I can’t do this myself, but if someone here has knowledge about this stuff:
Is it possible? Does something like this exist?

I would be very grateful for all your answers ❤️
And if it’s NOT possible, I’d love to understand why.

Also… how do some of you remember every month to power up?
Yes, calendar. Yes, reminders.
But I’m the type of person who almost always says “later” and then forgets 🙃

Maybe that should be another goal for me this year:
👉 Stop putting things aside and do them NOW when the reminder shows up.
