The reading that never took place 😁

The reading that never took place. Hello beautiful people of Hive students community, how are you all doing? It is my pleasure to be here and interact with you all again. Thank you for stopping by my blog. The theme for this week says "the lies we tell ourselves." This sounds funny but it actually true, because some of us actually told ourselves alot of lies while in school.

And When I saw the topic for this week, I started laughing at myself because I know that I'm a victim of this kind of lies. I have lied to myself before as a student. Years ago during my university days, every semester while resuming school, I could always tell myself that I will always read my book. Like, I will be reading every day no matter what happened, they said talk is cheap I honestly believe that 🀣🀣🀣🀣 because it so easy to make a promise or decisions than acting like it. so every first week of resumption, I will read books with all of my heart, just for that week. After the first week, everything will change. The zeal to do that will disappear, the only time I open anything called book is during lectures or evening service, but to say I'm readying, it a no no for me.

I don't know the kind of lazy spirit of reading that I have, but everything will change at once. Like after lectures, I don't even want to open my book or read anything till the next day. I continued telling myself that lies until I got tired and stopped lying to myself about reading. I only read when it's exam period and nothing more. So yes, I have lied to myself about reading every day, which later never took place. Thank you for stopping by. See you next time. Bye.

Indeed, talk is cheap.

While I was a student too, I lied to myself countless time to take my study time serious, well during my final year, I did. But am sure you know why 😁😁😁..

Thanks for sharing.

Hahaha. A lot of students lie about this. Similarly, I've lied about being serious with my reading habit but it never happens. I believe students have a lot in common when it comes to this

I don't think anyone especially students can escape this biggest lie, because it every semester we use to lie for ourselves about our academic performance πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‚

Na so. Most of us made the same promises and never kept them. I also believe that it has affected us in a way because we can actually do better if we can read well

That is true. I somehow regretted making that mistake. But it's well. Thank you for stopping by.
