Wednesday Walk - October's Uncertain Weather and My Walking Motivation
Greetings everyone from a new Wednesday Walk post. I'm so happy to share a new post here. I feel like we've reached Wednesday early this week. This has contributed to me visiting different places with different people this week. Even though it's been a busy week for me, I've continued my walks.
Yeni bir Wednesday Walk gönderisinden herkese selamlar. Yeni bir gönderiyi burada paylaşmanın keyfini yaşıyorum. Bu hafta çarşamba gününe erkenden ulaştık hissini yaşıyorum. Bu hafta çok farklı kişilerle ayrı ayrı yerleri gezmemde bunun etkisi var. Benim için dolu dolu bir hafta geçse de yürüyüşlerime devam ettim.
The early mornings and evenings are quite cold. It's inevitable that anyone who doesn't wear warm clothing will get sick. I don't like to wear warm clothing during this time of year. That's why I don't like being outside during these periods. Midday hours are quite hot. Towards the end of autumn, some days are very hot. We call this "pastırma heat." During this time, the meat of slaughtered animals is dried in the sun. The dried meat is used in winter dishes. This tradition still continues. Even if we don't slaughter an animal, we buy enough meat from the butcher and dry it in the sun. Dried meat really tastes different. It's much more delicious than fresh meat.
Sabah erken ve akşam saatleri oldukça soğuk geçiyor. Kalın giyenmeyenlerin hasta olması oldukça kaçınılmaz. Bu mevsimde kalın giyinmeyi pek sevmiyorum. Bu yüzden bu zaman dilimlerinde dışarıda olmayı pek sevmiyorum. Öğlen saatleri oldukça sıcak. Sonbaharın sonlarına doğru bazı günler çok sıcak geçer. Biz buna ''pastırma sıcağı'' deriz. Bu dönemde kesilen hayvan etleri, güneş altında kurutulur. Kurutulan etler kış yemeklerinde tüketilir. Bu gelenek halen sürüyor. Hayvan kesmesek bile kasaptan yeteri kadar et alır, güneş altında kuruturuz. Kurutulmuş etin tadı gerçekten bir başka oluyor. Yaş ete göre oldukça lezzetli.
The street is empty, there's no one there. Since it's the city's football team's match, most of the crowd has gone to watch. The old stadium used to be very close to here, but the new one is a bit further out from the city.
Cadde bomboş, hiçkimseler yok. Şehrin futbol takımının maçı olduğu için insanların büyük bölümü maç izlemeye gitmiş. Eski stadyum buraya eskiden çok yakındı, yeni stadyum biraz şehrin dışında yer alıyor.
As I've said before, I don't drive unless absolutely necessary when getting from place to place. But this time, I didn't. I had to use two vehicles, and I didn't drive one of them. Instead, I chose to walk and captured these beautiful views. Walking is a little more enjoyable when the scenery is beautiful.
Daha önce de söylediğim gibi bir yerden bir yere giderken zorunlu olmadığı sürece araç kullanmıyorum. Ancak bu kez araç kullanmadım. İki araç kullanmam gerekiyordu. Bunların birinde araç kullanmadım. Bunun yerine yürümeyi tercih ettim ve bu güzel manzaraları çektim. Manzara güzel olunca yürümek biraz daha zevkli oluyor.
