Wednesday Walk - A busy day, but not physically.

I'm enjoying sharing a new Wednesday Walk post. Throughout my life, I've always done work that I enjoyed. Jobs I didn't enjoy were mostly short-lived; they were mandatory. Some people dedicate their lives to jobs they don't enjoy, and I don't understand that. When you do work you don't enjoy, life becomes unbearable; the vast world turns into a small prison cell.

Bazı insanlar keyif almadığı işlere ömrünü adıyor, bunu anlamış değilim. When I left the house, the temperature outside was around 0 degrees Celsius. It wasn't an uncomfortable temperature, but if you've been out for a long time and aren't well-dressed, you could easily get cold. I'm normally someone who prefers walking, so I don't like driving. However, I had to get in my friend's car because I was going to meet him. Driving in the snow is really enjoyable. The same feeling applies when it's raining. Of course, very heavy, intense rainfall is dangerous.

Evden çıktığımda dışarıda 0 derece civarında bir hava sıcaklığı vardı. Rahatsız eden bir ısı değildi ama uzun süre kalan biri ve iyi giyinmemişse dışarıda üşümesi işten bile olmaz. Normalde yürümeyi seven biri olduğum için bir yerden bir yere giderken araç kullanmayı sevmiyorum. Ancak arkadaşımla görüşeceğim için mecburen onun aracına bindim. Afterwards, my friend and I went to a restaurant on the ring road that's known for its meat dishes. The establishment only serves one type of dish, and it's the city's most famous. I might share a post about that later.

While we were eating, the snow intensified. Since the stove was lit inside, we wanted to stay a little longer. Between being offered tea and other things, we ended up spending much longer inside. When we came out, the car was covered in snow, and there was a bit of snow piled up on the ground. Because our destination was at a higher altitude, we expected heavier snowfall.

Yemeğimizi yerken kar yağışı iyice bastırdı. İçeride soba yandığı için biraz daha uzun süre kalmak istedik. Çay ikramı falan derken içeride bulunma süremiz bayağı arttı. Dışarı çıktığımızda arabanın üstü kar ile kaplıydı ve yerde bir miktar kar birikmişti. Gideceğimiz yerde rakım daha yüksek olduğu için bizi daha yoğun kar yağışı bekliyordu.

I had an active day thanks to the car, but it wasn't a physically active day. I made up for it when I got home a little late. I did some challenging exercises for about half an hour. I noticed I've gained some weight. When I gain weight, my belly gets bigger, and it bothers me when I sit down or stand up. I'm trying to keep my belly as small as possible. Sometimes it doesn't work, of course. That's all for this week.

Araba sayesinde hareketli bir gün geçirdim ancak fiziksel olarak hareketli bir gün değildi. Eve biraz geç gelsem de bunu telafi etttim. Yaklaşık yarım saat süren zorlayıcı egzersizler yaptım. Bir miktar kilo aldığımı fark ettim. Kilo alınca göbeğim şişiyor ve oturken, kalkarken bu beni rahatsız ediyor. Göbeği olabildiğince küçük tutmak için çaba harcıyorum. Bazen olmuyor tabii.
